Chapter 2: Into a new world
When they awoke there was a man a man sitting next to them. It was him, Selthimy. His cruel laughter filled the air once more. "Well, it's about time you woke up!" he said. "Come on Thurizas. Your next to die!"
"Not if I can help it!" Thurizas came charging with both blades in front of him. Keep him guessing he thought to himself. Thurizas jumped in the air and threw his left sword at Selthimy.
The sword missed. "Ha! You'll have to do better than that boy!" The sword started to glow blood red.
"I always do," Thurizas said. The sword levitated and dove straight into Selthimy's right arm. Selthimy let out a yell and swore under his breath.
"You little…" Thurizas came charging once again at him his other sword in his right hand ready. He started to attack once more when Selthimy grabbed the sword. He laughed. "You think I'm going down that easily? No, I have much more in store for you little fool." With that Selthimy threw Thurizas to the ground. He then jerked out the blade that nested in his right arm, and then tossed it to the ground by Thurizas. "I see you've gotten stronger since our lat encounter. No matter. Your corpse will fall soon, but not here." Selthimy stretched out his left arm and chanted a few words. His hand started to glow black.
"A portal," Thurizas said. Selthimy then dropped his hand and grabbed Thurizas and his sister.
"See you in hell," he said throwing them both in the portal. Thurizas's head started to spin. He felt sick to the core. He opened his eyes but couldn't see Obsidian anywhere. He was alone. His head kept spinning until he then fell into a deep sleep. He awoke with a blonde boy standing over him.
"Are you ok," the boy asked. The boy helped Thurizas to his feet.
"Not really." Thurizas then remembered what had happened. "Obsidian! No…"
The boy looked confused. "Who's Obsidian?" the boy asked.
"My sister. Wait, was there a girl next to me when you found me?" The boy shook his head. Thurizas bowed his head in disappointment.
The boy outstretched his hand. "I'm Naruto."
Thurizas hesitated, then, he too outstretched his hand. "Thurizas. Glad to meet you. Um, Naruto."
They shook hands then Naruto slapped himself in the head. "Oh crap I almost forgot. Kakashi sensei wanted to meet me at the academy."
"Ka" Thurizas tried to make out the name. "Kakashi?
"Yeah. Ever heard of him?" There was a long silence. Naruto waved his hand in front of Thurizas. "Hello!!!"
"Huh? Oh yeah. No sorry, never heard of him." Naruto looked disappointed in his new friend.
"Well, come on then. I'll introduce you to him," Naruto said, grabbing Thurizas's hand. They ran for what seemed like hours but Thurizas didn't care. He was too worried about his sister. His brother was dead for them and if he doesn't find he soon it might be too late.
The Pain and Blood series is a little bit of my life. Obsidian is based on my sister. For some reason I get along a lot better with her than my older brothers. Tetseeke was not really based on anyone just what I felt, and Thurizas… me.
