"And if you ever come back, I'll fucking kill you! Do you hear me?! I'll fucking kill you!"

Another distant memory of the past. God she hated them. She hated remembering everything that had happened. She didn't even know why she was going back. She kept questioning herself, but she came up with no answers.

'Why am I doing this?'

Once again there was that question. Why. Why did she feel the need to go back? Why did she decide to take the car and start from the beginning? No, it wasn't the beginning. At least not quite. But it was hell for her, none the least. Ambrose was the place where her troubles seemed to grow, and all she could ask herself was why.

1991

Imagine a picturesque town, where the foliage grew to be just the right height and colour. Imagine young children playing without a care in the street. Imagine neighbours passing each other by and simply smiling. Imagine a place where everything was where it should be and order surrounded everything. Nothing was out of place and everyone seemed happy. Or at least that's how it seemed to be.

It was the same story with Elizabeth Croft. On the outside she was a pretty, young teenager who enjoyed the outside and getting up to mischief. Just like most teenagers do. She was 13 years old and yet she looked much older. Most people who didn't know her thought that she was about 16. She didn't really like that fact. She wanted to look young and innocent. For 13, she was already tall, around 5'8"ft, this gave her a better advantage when it came to running and climbing. Activities that she enjoyed passionately. Her hair was raven black and short. She always seemed to wear it in a ponytail. Her eyes were greener than most had ever seen. She actually surprised a few people with the colour of them. They were like burning green orbs of fire that were forever lit. Some could say that it wasn't fire burning in those eyes, but jealousy. As for the rest of her, Elizabeth developed quite quickly. By the time she was 13 she had already become a woman in certain senses. This was another reason behind why people mistook her for 16. She was extremely well endowed and she was a hit with a few of the local boys. She never looked twice at them though.

Well, saying that, there was one boy that caught her eye…..

No wait, we're going off the subject here. Where were we? Oh yeah I remember. There was more than met the eye with Elizabeth. She wasn't your ordinary teenager that lead a pretty normal life. No, she had a story. A past. A history. And it would never let her rest. Just like with a lot of things in Ambrose, Elizabeth seemed reasonably happy on the outside, but inside something black and nasty was bubbling and just waiting for the right time to raise it's ugly head.

Sorry that this is really short. The other chapters won't be i promise. I just wanted to make this a kinda pilot fanfic. I just want to see what you all think. Throw me some of your ideas on what you would like to see. Thanks loads :)
