Legend of Spyro: The Legend of Cawunga

Prologue

A long time ago not so far from the realm of Avalar, lay the forest of Yhun where the birds sang in the trees and the dragons lay looking up at the stars under blossoming trees. But beyond that was the mountain of Carhlung. This was a place of Sorcery, spirits, and fighting.

It was an early morning and the gates of Carhlung opened to welcome Master Redruhng, leader of the Cawunga tribe. The walls of the fortress were high and loomed over the small figure of Redruhng like a daemon fox. They were carved out of the grey face of the mountain and were topped with red tiles, some cracked, some gleaming in the low sunshine. Master Redruhng scurried up the stairs in his long red coat flapping behind him. He was a dragon, and a very wise one at that. With his green spiky tail and blue spiralled horns. As soon as he leaped up the huge last steps, the gates closed shut and mountain fell silent again.

Inside he met up with his fellow councillors. "We have very important news to deliver!" said he as he hurried along not bothering to even look at the other councillors.

"Err... Yes sir, of course sir!" said the councillors as one.

"It must be very important news for Master Redruhng to be in this much of a hurry."

They all followed their master into the meeting room. "Right everyone sit down quickly, I have very important news!"

They all sat down in the chairs and wondered what news could be so important. When everyone was ready, he began.

"Right everyone, the very important news I have to deliver is that when I went to the realm of Avalar I talked to our good friend-"

"Skip to the point old man!" The other councillors said, again, at once.

"Yes, ok, ok. Right, well, he said-"

"Master Redruhng!" said the councillors.

"Ok, ok. I will say it in one sentence. The purple dragon has been born."

There was a dead silence and the dragons just looked at him. Suddenly they began whispering and talking. Soon there was a big commotion and Master Redruhng couldn't fit a word in edgeways. Once the commotion had stopped Redruhng stood up and said, "Listen."
