"Master, you gotta check my new costume for Halloween! It's so cool!"
Anakin was looking like a jubilant young kid as he danced excitedly in front of Obi-Wan. He was eager for him to see what he was going to be dressed in while out trick-or-treating that night. The Jedi Master took in how ecstatic his young padawan was. A stern, disapproving frown crossed his face.
"I don't believe you should get caught up in this fiasco, Anakin. Celebrating Halloween is a path to the Dark Side."
"Aww, c'mon, master, it's only a bit of fun; dressing up just to get some candy!" Anakin grinned at his master in all his enthusiasm over what he wanted to show him. "C'mon! Have a look at my costume! It's really scary!"
Obi-Wan sighed with defeat. "Oh alright, Anakin!"
"Close your eyes! Don't open them until I'm ready!"
Obi Wan did as he was told. He stood with his eyes closed as he waited for his Padawan to change into his outfit. He didn't expect to be a bit afraid of what he was about to see. Surely Anakin was just going to be dressed up as a Tuskin Raider or Jawa or anything else from Tattooine that wasn't the least bit frightening.
"Okay, Master! I'm ready!"
Obi-Wan opened his eyes – and gasped in shock by what he saw.
Standing before him, dressed in his iconic dark clothing and helmet with his infamous heavy breathing filling the room – was Darth Vader.
"Vader!" Obi-Wan force grabbed his lightsabre, igniging it at once. "Get away from me, you filthy evil Sith Lord!"
"No, Master! It's me, Anakin!" Vader raised his hands towards the Jedi Master, the panic on his face concealed by his mask. "This is just my Halloween costume-"
Vader's words were cut short as Obi-Wan's lightsabre sliced off one of his hands. He stared in shock at his severed arm – before anger built inside him as he gazed furiously at his irate master.
"YOU TOOK MY HAND!" He roared, summoning and igniting his own lightsabre. "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TRICK-OR-TREATING WITHOUT IT! I HATE YOU!"
The two engaged in an epic lightsabre duel. It was incredibly intease as they leaped around the room, trying to slash each other with their colourful crystal-bladed swords. They smashed many items in the room in the process. The fight only ended when Vader manage to slice his weapon through Obi-Wan, causing him to vanish as he was instantly slaughtered.
"That takes care of him!" Vader muttered, switching off and pocketed his lightsabre as he prepared to leave the room, carrying a plastic pumpkin bucket. "Now it's time to start stealing candy from younglings! I'm the scariest thing out there!"
"That's what you think, Darth..."
Vader didn't see or hear the Force Ghost of Obi-Wan fading into view behind him, watching with folded arms and a disgruntled look as his apprentice who had just killed him left the room.
"You may be wearing a costume to make you look scarier – but I'm now a real ghost! You can't be scarier than me, my young Padawan!"
The end.
