You saw the silver haired delivered a blow to Guren's cheek.

The white horse galloped faster, as you saw them talking—and Shinya's wide eyes, as he took steps back from Guren.

You yelled, "I'm here!"

And everyone looked up in surprise, as you rode on a stunning white stallion—bright white cape bellowing on the wind behind you. Your gaze—all your anger written in your irises—froze them in their tracks.

Both Shinya and Guren blinked rapidly. "Huh?"

But you—jumping down from atop the stallion—turned your back on the dark haired, facing the silver haired beauty before you. "Shinya-sama," Your voice soft, as you took his dirty gloved hand and kissed its back. "Please allow me to take you out of this war."

"What?" Blue eyes stared in confusion, but you still saw how beautiful they were under the sunlight.

Behind you, Guren spluttered. "Wha—What the fuck?"

You stood on your feet, swept Shinya into your arms—a hand under his back and another under his knees. "You will be fine," You assured the silver haired.

It seemed Guren took his bearing. "Hey!" He shouted, hands on his sword but you still didn't care. You put Shinya on the horse's back and then turned your eyes to the dark-haired. "What the fuck you think you're doing?"

You raised your chin in anger. "I'm doing what I have to do." You jumped to the horse, right behind Shinya whose eyes still wide for the unexpected event happened to him. "Since it seems you're not in the right mind to do it."

Violet eyes stared at yours, stunned in realization.

"Now," You continued. "I'm going to take Shinya-sama to a safe place, away from you," You said as a parting shot, then you took the reins to get as far away from everyone—including Guren's silence.

Thus was how the both of you—the still protesting Shinya in your arms—galloping far on the white steed toward the bright red sunset.

Notes

And this is why Shinya hasn't appeared until now.

(Procrastination runs rampant in my brain. Sorry thesis...)
