Seymour Guado put up a good fight but he had once again been defeated by his lovely bride. The maester smirked as the beautiful summoner picked up her rod and started sending him. He was pleased that the young, naive girl that he had grown so fond of was the one to end his dream of becoming the next Sin. It seemed like the most appropriate ending to his madness.
The guado closed his eyes as he felt the pyreflies flee from his body and in immeasurable amount of time passed before he found himself in The Farplane. He looked around with a grin at all the fallen people of Spira. They all seemed so full of bliss as they embraced their eternal state of death.
Yes, Seymour knew he was going to enjoy it here...
Just as the guado was starting to sink into a state of relaxation, there was a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a familiar face staring at him with disapproval. "Kinoc..." Seymour said, folding his arms in front of his chest. "It's good to see you, old friend."
"Old friend!?" Kinoc threw his hands in the air. "You killed me, Seymour!"
"Yes, but I was doing you a favor..." Seymour said simply. "You were letting the power of being a maester go to your head."
"So you kill me!?" Kinoc cried. He took a deep breath and mentally counted to ten, trying to calm himself down. After recomposing himself, he shook his head at Seymour. "It was no secret that I enjoyed the power. But that was certainly no reason to kill me!"
Seymour sighed. "Do we have to discuss this now? I've only just gotten here and I would really like to take a look around." He started to walk away but the fat maester stepped in front of him.
"You've got an eternity to look around." Kinoc insisted. "I've been waiting a long time for you to get here. I have a few things I'd like to say!"
Seymour waved his hand in the air. "Okay...go ahead."
"First of all, you're a dick." Kinoc said. "That's a given..."
"Fair enough." Seymour replied.
"You murdered your own father just to have a taste of power...and you think I'm the one who was on a power trip!?"
"Well, I-"
"Then you tried to kill your own wife! I mean, I've heard of taking rejection badly but that's just ridiculous!" Kinoc shook his head in disapproval. "Seriously, how many times did Yuna have to kick your butt before you realized that she just wasn't that into you!? Can you say pathetic?"
"Hey, that's not cool-"
"No, you know what's not cool? Ronso genocide!" Kinoc turned around and pointed to a group of Ronso who were staring at Seymour with pure anger. The guado rubbed the back of his head nervously. What the heck was he supposed to say to them? He shrugged his arms in the air before offering the angry Ronso a grin.
"You have no reason to be angry with me, friends." Seymour insisted, completely sure of himself. "I was only trying to liberate you from the pain of-"
"Yeah, yeah..." Kinoc interrupted. "The pain of living in a world full of death. Blah blah blah..."
Seymour raised a brow at his tone but decided it would be best not to press the matter further. All he wanted to do was find an isolated place where he could rest. The guado turned around and started to walk away until he heard another familiar voice call his name. He looked to see his father Jyscal standing there. "I have a few things I'd like to say to you as well, young man.."
Seymour put his palm to his face. 'This is going to be a long eternity...'
