Elevator Kisses
Leo and Calypso stepped into the elevator, mentally preparing to talk the gods into letting Calypso stay with Leo in the mortal world.
"I'm nervous," Calypso admitted worriedly. "What if they decide my crimes are too grand to be forgotten? What if-"
"Sweetie," Leo interrupted, taking his girlfriend's hand. He inhaled her cinnamon scent. "We'll be fine. You stood up against Gaea, and cared for me. That has got to get you some bonus points." Calypso smiled a small smile. Leo leaned in and pressed his forehead against hers.
"I love you," breathed Calypso.
Leo whispered "I love you too."
The couple started kissing passionately as the elevator doors opened with a cheery ping. However, the thing that made them break apart was a high-pitched squeal. Leo broke off the kiss and looked towards the source. Aphrodite.
"Look at how cute they are," she exclaimed, eyes wide with excitement. "Are they just so in love? Why, they're as adorable as Percabeth! I shall call them Caleo! Oh, we just have to let them be together. We can't break this totes adorbs couple up. Even if it does make good drama. Did you see that passion? Oh, young love, it's so-"
"We get it!" Athena snapped. Aphrodite pouted and crossed her arms across her chest like a five year-old. Hestia smiled at the embracing couple.
"I quite agree with Aphrodite," Hestia said. "It would be much too harsh to break them up. They've both had enough heartbreak." Artemis shifted nervously in her throne. She would never admit she liked the young couple, because Aphrodite would never let her live it down.
"Calypso has endured enough suffering," she said instead. "The girl is strong, and would provide much help if another war were to occur. Besides, she makes him stronger, and we need that these days. Dad, I just don't think it'd be fair to ruin this girl's life just because she made a mistake all those years ago. I say we let her go."
Apollo grinned. "Listen, Calypso, you have a beautiful singing voice. We should let her go." Calypso turned pink, and Leo gritted his teeth.
"My son is very happy with her," Hephaestus provided. "She has helped him heal from his mother's death, and they are two halves of a whole. I say we let Calypso go."
Hera sighed unhappily. "I suppose Calypso has felt enough pain."
Poseidon shrugged. "I say we let her go. It'd be the right thing to do."
"I say," Ares growled. "We don't-" He caught Aphrodite's death glare and quickly continued. "We never break them apart because they need each other more than anything."
Athena rolled her eyes. "I guess I agree with the others. It'd be only logical to let her go. Next time, she might just help the enemy."
"It is decided then," Hermes exclaimed. "Calypso, go enjoy the mortal world!" Said girl screamed in joy and threw her arms around Leo, planting a big kiss of her lips as he spun her around. Aphrodite watched with a creepy look in her eyes.
Leo picked Calypso up bridal style and carried her into the elevator. Once inside with the doors shut, they resumed their elevator kiss.
They never noticed the boy who looked like Leo and the blond chick with the pink streaks in her hair.
They really should have.
