Crunch.

Axel bit into the Sea Salt ice cream bar, his gaze looking at the sunset in front of him. You know, sea salt ice cream isn't as tasty when you're alone.
You know, for someone who doesn't have a heart...He really felt a pain when Roxas left. He felt alive, and not in a good way, mind you. He felt cold, frozen to the ground. No one would miss me. Heh, you still think so, Roxas? After all we've been through, all we've done together, all the things we've said...You still think that?

The Organization is just quiet now. For Axel anyways. There's always Demyx, either complaining or eating or something like that. Which is always kind of funny, and there's Saix trying to be the oh so lawful puppy to Xemnas. Which amused Axel greatly. But...it's not the same anymore. First Xion, now Roxas.

There were some days were Axel would get a little bit more memory of Roxas, it'd just hit him like a slap to the face. It hurt...If he had a heart, you know. Roxas, even though he'd gone back to Sora, was still there sometimes. If that makes sense. Little bits of him showed now and again. It's funny though, how none of those little bits were directed to him.

Is it weird he felt...jealous? He felt angry, and almost betrayed that Roxas wouldn't show up to him. Saix would say it's all just make believe, what he's feeling. And in a way, he supposes Saix is right. I mean C'mon, we're nobodies. We don't feel. We don't love. We don't get angry or sad or jealous. It's all a memory of what we used to be able to do. Axel would think. Yet, he felt it. He knew, he cared for Roxas. It wasn't some petty make believe friendship, as Saix called it. It was...something, to Axel.

Anyways, back to what he was saying. Roxas would have moments of bringing himself up. Like... With Kairi, for example. When he had...kind of, you know, kidnapped her. Long story, he'll explain it sometime later. She told him about Roxas, about how he visited her in a dream and talked to her. So you visited Kairi. Why not visit me? Axel had though another time before, while he was sitting at the same place watching the same sun set. Why couldn't Axel see Roxas in his dream? Just...once.

Crunch.

Axel would still come up and sit here after every mission. Now isn't that pitiful? He'd pretend that Xion and Roxas were still here. He'd explain to "them" about his mission, and what he had to do for the day. He'd complain about Saix and everyone that bothered him. He'd laugh at his own jokes. While no one was there. But he pictured Roxas, laughing, smiling...joking back with him. Roxas was still here, in his hea-

Oops. Did Axel almost say that? That would of been a hilarious thing. Oh god...Ahaha...haha..

Axel frowned more, slowly clutching his cloak, where his heart would be, if he had one, you know.

"...You're still here." He whispered aloud. "You're just giving me the cold shoulder, you did that when we first met, remember, Roxas?" He let out a sad laugh. "You'll warm up to me, just like last time."

Crunch.

Axel looked down at his ice cream stick. All the ice cream was gone, except for the stick.

"Huh, Winner."

He looked at the stick, which had the words 'WINNER' printed on it.

"I'll save this one for Roxas." He said softly, gripping onto the stick and getting up. He gazed at the stop the three of them would sit together, before letting out a gentle sigh.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Roxas."
