Standing on a cliff, Inutaisho had a look of nostalgia as he looked down at the ruins of his former palace. So many memories of what the palace that once stood there rushing back to him. The only memories that he had that did not happen there was with Izayoi.

But the one thing he was still trying to wrap his mind around, was why the Gods saw fit to bring someone like him back to the world of the living. He hadn't had the most trustworthy past with either humans or demons until he happen to meet Izayoi by chance. 'Though I have to admit that seeing how Inuyasha grew up is most appealing to me.'

Just as soon as he thought of Inuyasha, his mind switched to the pup that he raised in that palace. Sesshomaru. He hated the fact that Inutaisho chose Izayoi as his mate when his own mother left. And said on more than one occasion when Izayoi became pregnant that he refused to share his blood with a filthy half demon.

Sighing Inutaisho looked down at his side. He felt out of place even more without Tetsusaiga and Tensega at his side. So the first thing that he was going to do was pay a little visit to his old friend Totosai.

As he turned to leave, he couldn't resist one last glance at the palace that used to be his home. With heavy eyes and a heavy heart he turned and bounded off for the home of the swordsmith. A smile gracing his face. 'I do have to wonder how he is going to react when he sees me?'

With a glum look on his face, Totosai sat in his cave looking at the floor. All he did anymore was sit in his cave with Myoga and stare down at the fire. He was getting extremely bored. 'I just can't take it stuck in here anymore.' He then reached a bony finger over to the flea who was sleeping on his shoulder. "Hey. Wake up!"

With a groan as he sat up and held his head, Myoga sighed. "What?"

Dropping his hand, Totosai groaned. "Do you know where the pups are? I am bored."

Rubbing his still sleepy eyes, Myoga stood up with a sigh. "I have no clue. Four days ago before I came back here they were all waiting on Kagome to get back from her time around the well."

With a smile, Totosai sighed as he thought about the chain of events that happened since his Master's death. "You know everything that has happened in the last 250 years has shocked us both so much."

Putting his hands in his sleeves, Myoga nodded as he closed his eyes. "Yes indeed. I never thought that Sesshomaru would have had anything to do with Inuyasha. Let alone taking him under his protection when Lady Izayoi passed to the next life to be with Master."

Throwing some wood in the fire, Totosai laughed. "I know. That shocked the crap out of me when you told me."

Still nodding his head, Myoga smiled. "Though for that I am sure that Master would be most proud of Lord Sesshomaru."

Nodding, Totosai nodded as he looked down at the flea. "Just as proud as we are. I am sure of it. Though he would be truly shocked as well with what has happened in the last year."

"What would make me proud and shocked all at the same time?"

Flinching both Totosai and Myoga turned startled eyes slowly toward the entrance of the cave when they heard that familiar booming voice behind them. Totosai's mouth falls open and his eyes go even wider when he sees who is standing in the entrance to his cave. Then he screams like a girl and jumps back to the every back of the cave. "It's a ghost! Why have you come to haunt me?"

Raising an eyebrow at the crazy swordsmith, Inutaisho just looked at them. With a sigh as he shrugged, he shook his head. "I am no ghost. I swear you are still as crazy as ever." Then he took a step further inside the cave.

Screaming again, sounding even more like a girl, Totosai pointed a very shaky finger at him. "You have to be a ghost! I was the one who found your body after Lady Izayoi's castle stopped burning! You are dead!"

Stopping and going wide eyed, Inutaisho forgot about that. It was up to Totosai, Saya and Myoga to not only distribute his swords as in structed, but to take care of his body after death. Putting Tetsusaiga in Inuyasha's eye, Sesshomaru got Tenseiga, and Saya to go into the Bone Eaters Well.

Another shrug as he held his hands up too, Inutaisho smiled. "Yeah. That. Well not sure why, but for some odd reason the God's decided that I get a second chance and sent me back. Fully alive."

Crying as he bounded to him, Myoga landed on his cheek with a bite. If he was truly a ghost, he would fgo right through him. But even more tears gushed from his eyes when he tasted the blood coming from him. No one had the same blood. Inuyasha was the closest, but still not an even match. Then came the familiar slap. As he drifted down toward the floor, he reached his flinging arms out for him. "Master! It is you! You are back! I cannot believe it! I am so happy!"

Gasping, Totosai snuck over to him and used his hammer to touch his arm. When it didn't go through him, he used his finger. He then gasped as he fell backwards on his backside and pointed. "You are back!"

Crossing his arms as he glared from the flea to the swordsmith, Inutasiho growled. "I think we already established that one."

No longer pointing and shaking, Totosai sat down but still stared at him like he was a ghost. "But they didn't tell you why they were sending you back?"

With a shrug, Inutaisho half smiled and waved his right hand in the air as he sat down on the opposite side of the cave and leaned against the wall. "I haven't the slightest clue. They just said that I get to come back. I wasn't about to ask questions."

No longer crying, Myoga jumped up to his knee, but did give him a sad look. "So this is for good."

Turning his eyes to the flea, Inutaisho nodded. "Yep. And she said that unless someone kills me again, I won't be leaving."

When he heard miko, Totosai saw a flash of Sesshomaru with Kagome as he blinked at his Master. "She?"

Closing his eyes as he crossed his arms, Inutaisho yawned. "Yeah some miko."

Jumping up and down on his knee, Myoga was waving his hands in the air as fast as he could. "Do not even joke like that Master! It nearly killed me to lose you the first time! I think it will kill me if I were to have to do it again!"

"Humph." Smiling, Inutaisho took a deep breath. "You haven't changed Myoga. Still as annoying as ever. And still scared of everything I bet."

His eyes closed and his arms crossed, Totosai nodded in agreement. "Much worse now Master."

Smiling, Inutaisho reached up and pulled three of his four K-9 teeth from his mouth and tossed them to Totosai. "I will need some sords Totosai."

Catching all th ree of them, Totosai just gave him an odd look as he arched an eyebrow. "You want me to make you new ones?"

Nodding, Inutaisho turned now open eyes to him. "Yes. By the way did you do exactly what I wanted done with Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga?"

Nodding, Totosai looked at the teeth in his hands then back up to his Master. "Do you want another Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga then?"

Nodding, Inutaisho closed his eyes and crossed his arms again. "Yes, but only another Tenseiga. I don't think that there needs to be two Tetsusaiga. The other two are to be fire and ice this time."

Smiling, Totosai turned from him and moved to the fire and started on what would be a new Tenseiga again. "Right away Master."

With a smile on his face, Inutaisho then looked down at the ground as his eyes took on a cloudy look. Of all the demon that he had in his vast army of the West. The only two that he knew were purely loyal to him, were the two that were terrified of him at the same time. Well three of them if he counted Sounga's sheath Saya. "Can I ask the two of you something?"

Both nodded. Myoga did a mock bow on his knee. "Master you know that you can ask us anything."

His eyes never looking at either of them, but taking on a look of longing. "What do the two of you know about Inuyasha and Sesshomaru?"
