Aliens. Yup they're real all right. And i'm living proof of it. At least, a part of me is. Have you ever heard of a symbiote? It's a type of living organism that survives by taking nutrients from a being it attaches itself to also known as a host. Which in this case is is me. But, instead of something small like a leech, which usually attaches itself to the ankle and drains the blood, Mine is currently taking residence in my blood. Of course, I don't just mean any specific part of my blood, it's every, Arteries, veins, everywhere. Yeah, not fun. Now, you're probably wondering how this happened, and what I did with it. Well, it all started at the Smithsonian Aerospace museum in Washington DC.

I was there on a school field trip. My mom had suggested getting at least decently dressed for the occasion, since we lived a whole state away, but I went ahead and dressed the way I normally do. I had on a black hoodie, on top of a grey t-shirt, a pair of regular jeans, and some black steel-toe boots.

Our group were walking towards the aeroplane section of the museum, but that area did not interest me in the slightest, so I decided to just ditch them and head over to the shuttles. I was walking past some, only glancing at the various plaques describing them. When I noticed one that was different than the rest, it's main body, I think, was basically just a large ball, in shape at least. It was being stood up on 4 angled legs that, upon closer examination, were actually the vehicles thrusters. The large difference between it and all the other shuttles got me curious, so I got closer to and began reading the plaque. This thing was filthy, seriously I could barely read anything there was so much grime. All I could make out was that the moment it was retrieved it was sealed. Suddenly I heard a faint tapping sound. I went and began searching all around the outside of it. Nothing, not a single person. I looked around and saw that there weren't even any people around at all, not even a janitor. Then I realized that the tapping was coming from the inside of the shuttle.

"Well, that's not ominous at all." I mumbled. I stood there thinking on what I should do next for a good 2 minutes, before I finally, and hesitantly, walked over to the hatch door of it. Right as I was about to knock on the door I noticed a small brown spider next to my boot. "Aww..." I moaned, " Little guy must be looking for a place to take a nap." Yeah, I really like spiders, so what? I started to kneel down to get a better look at the spider, when my knee bumped the hatch knocking it slightly ajar.

"Oops..." I muttered. I stayed kneeling in one place, expecting something to come out. That's when I noticed the tapping had stopped and replaced by a light slithering sound. I looked down at the ground and saw a blackish purple... goop on the ground, forming a thin trail. Straight towards my feet. I began to reach my hand out to touch the goop, but I stopped when I realized that the substance was moving! I remembered that I had an empty water bottle in pocket. I quickly pulled it out and twisted the cap off, barely even thinking. I began to place the opening on the ground to try and scoop up some of the substance, but I stopped when I heard small squeal of pain from my feet.

I looked and there was the spider. Covered in the black goop, and writhing in pain. I was absolutely stunned, I couldn't move. Even as I saw it jump on onto my arm, I didn't move an inch. It wasn't until the spider scurried onto my hand and bit me, that I finally became unstunned. I began to scream as it kept its fangs in me. I finally started swatting at it with my other hand, I nearly broke my hand I was hitting it so hard. Suddenly, I felt something being pumped into me. I took my hand away and saw the remains of the spider. I say remains because that's all it was, remains. It was a dried husk of the creature it used to be. I stared at it for a moment before I realized I could see my veins. But they weren't red or light-blue though, they were pure black.

I couldn't feel anything. Anything, that is, except for pain. The excruciating pain. Just before I fell unconscious my field trip group came from around one of the other vessels. They all stopped in their tracks when they saw me on my knees falling forward. One girl, Sophie I think, screamed. Another kid, Daniel, dropped his soda to the floor, spilling everywhere. I can barely see my one friend, Katie, running up to me. Darkness swimming into my vision.

The last thought that ran through my mind was, "Good night everybody."

Okay that is my first attempt at uploading something here, please leave a review saying whether or not you would like to see more of this, because if so then I will turn this into a series.
