The greenery of the battlefield left the Power Rangers' eyes in an instant. Just before the Evil Green Ranger could strike them down, they materialized into bright points of light and lifted off, the scene replaced in just a few seconds by the dimly lit, fractured Command Center as they touched down.

"How did we get here?" Lia asked, looking around at the wreckage. Some lights had flickered on, the flames had been extinguished, and a couple of computer terminals had been replaced, but the place still looked like a tangled and smashed mess.

Alpha 5, who was fusing some wires together with a spiral-shaped device, said, "I just repaired the Teleportation Link and Communication Link. They're still a little shaky, but the systems will be back up to speed as soon as I repair some more of these wires."

"Thank goodness you did," Tracey said. "I'm sure you saw what was going on out there."

Alpha nodded his saucer-shaped head. "Yes, I'm afraid so."

Ash stomped his foot, grunting angrily. "I can't believe we couldn't beat that guy! Alpha, why didn't you tell us there was another Power Ranger?"

"And why is he working for Rita?" Brock inquired.

"Why should we care?!" Ash shouted. "We need to go back out there and stop him!"

"We can't just go out there without a plan," Lia interrupted, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Misty, who had been standing off in the corner, suddenly exclaimed, "I'm with Ash on this one; I've had enough! I mean, remember what Scorpina said when we mentioned Zordon and Alpha? This Green Ranger's the one who broke in here!"

"Rangers, Rangers…" Alpha protested, putting his arms up, which were still jittery from his short-circuiting. "I understand you have many questions and want to stop Rita, but we have to take our time. Look." He pointed at the Viewing Globe, which showed the place the Rangers last fought, devoid of anyone at the scene. "The Green Ranger is gone as well as Rita's monsters. We must take everything a step at a time. Please demorph and relax a little."

The Power Rangers hesitantly looked at one another and put their hands around their Power Morphers, causing multicolored static energy to envelop them and leave them in their street clothes. In that moment, the group also started to buckle and contort, the pain from the battles suddenly registering.

Lia rubbed her arm where the Green Ranger tried to force her into submission, then turned to Misty, who was nursing a grotesque bruise that formed at her right hip where she had been stabbed. "At least the suit protected you. Are you okay?" she asked.

Misty turned away from her female friend and scowled. Lia tried to laugh a little. "I guess we all have the same answer to that question," she said.

Brock sat near one of the computer terminals and rested his throbbing back against it. "Well Alpha," he began. "It looks like you have somewhat of a handle on fixing the computers, but you'll need more help."

"That is true," the robot replied as he went to check on another smashed interface, Tracey having already gotten to it and inspecting it. "Without the computer, we cannot locate Zordon."

Tracey turned his head away from the computer to look at Ash, who was gazing at Zordon's static-ridden energy tube, his eyebrows furrowed and lips curled in a grimace. "What if we combine our Power Coins like we did when bringing the bioscanner back online?" he suggested. "Surely our energy can bring him back."

"I'm afraid it isn't that simple, Tracey," Alpha explained. "When we restored the scanners, Zordon provided some of his own energy to complete the process. But now he isn't here. He is an interdimensional being, so could be lost anywhere on a dimensional plane since his connection to our Morphing Grid has been fractured."

"Well I'm going to help you fix everything," Tracey offered, taking the device Alpha had laid down.

"I'm in too," Lia added, going over to Tracey and Alpha. "You can't do it on your own."

"Alright then," Ash piped up, his tone harsh. "The rest of you work on locating Zordon. I'm going after that other Ranger."

"Man, stop!" Brock nearly shouted, grabbing his friend's arm. "Think about it. We're not at full strength and we know nothing about this green guy. Even with the Dinozords, we're gonna be off guard."

Ash continued to tense up, snarling, "He's not getting away with this, Brock."

"That's what Rita wants, though," Lia jumped in. "She wants us to just scurry around so we'll be easy targets."

The de facto leader of the team sighed and ran his hand through his dark hair. "And that's not how we fight anyway," he conceded. "Power Rangers end fights, not start them."

"Exactly," Alpha said. "But you all can help me a little while later. I believe you have friends and family you have to check on, as well as other matters to take care of."

Tracey put down the repair device and came to meet the others. "That's right," he spoke. "We have to check on our Pokémon and make sure our folks don't worry about us. We can do both in town since the hospital has a live link to the Pokémon Center."

"Good idea," Ash said. "But we have to come back here. Alpha, call us as soon as you need anything."

Lia nodded and walked over to Misty, who was sitting off in a corner by herself. "Hey," she said, nudging her shoulder. "Hey." Misty still didn't budge. "Why don't we go and see them ourselves tomorrow? Kau Cove is about an hour away, so it won't take too long."

Misty nodded curtly and got up without a word, preparing to leave with the others.
