Solangelo fanfic
The day had started bright and shiny. Too bright and too shiny for Nico. Seriously, Apollo had to be excited or something because the sun was full out and the day was really hot.
Nico had gone out of bed early, thanks to Will, who had received a few kicks from the sleepy boy. The son of Apollo was determined to make Nico get up on time for morning activities, and even after he received a few insults and kicks to his stomach and pulled the son of Hades out from his bed, he didn't seem to have one hair out of place.
Sometimes, Will's perfection irritated Nico. The boy just didn't seem to have one bad hair or anything like that! Nico even wondered if he woke up like that. Probably.
"Why do you even insist of doing that!" Nico grunted, finally getting up, and getting to Will's face, which was kind of hard, since he was taller than him.
Will smirked, the kind of smirk he used to annoy Nico, he was sure.
"Well, you don't have anyone to wake you up, and you sleep like a rock, so I decided to give myself the challenge to wake you up every morning."
Nico glared at Will, then made his way to his bathroom, to brush his teeth. When he got back to his room, he saw Will was gone, probably to take his cabin to breakfast, as he was the counselor of his cabin.
He also noticed he had laid out clothes for Nico, and decided he has just luckily picked his favorite T-shirt.
After Nico had put his clothes on, he went to the pavilion. He got himself some food and tossed some of it in the fire, for his dad and went to sit.
He then felt someone sitting beside him. It was Will, of course. Ever since they allowed the demigods to sit whenever they wanted, the son of Apollo had always sat with Nico.
One after the other, his other friends sat around the table as well. Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Leo, that new girl, Calypso, Clarisse, Chris, Grover and Juniper and Rachel. Good thing the table was pretty big.
They were all talking, and after he ate, he got up and left the dishes on the balcony they were left at so they could be washed later and was almost leaving the pavilion and going to his cabin before heading to the activities when he felt a tug on his arm.
It was Will, and he had already left his dishes and gone after him, apparently. "Where do you think you're going?"
"My cabin."
"No. You're coming to the infirmary, remember?"
Nico groaned "Really, Will? Just because…"
Will cut him off "You raised Jules-Albert? Yes."
"Oh, come on!"
"You almost passed out, you idiot! I told you you had to wait more! Stupid stubborn son of Hades" Will said the last part under his breath.
"You're exaggerating!"
"If Percy hadn't been quick and got you, you would've fallen face first on the ground! I knew I shouldn't of let you go to that quest! I'm so stupid."
"You're not stupid. Stop saying that, it's annoying. Besides, I was going to be fine."
"Because Percy got you" Will said with a bitter voice.
Nico smirked "What's with that tone? Gee I thought you were happy he did."
"I am."
"Doesn't sound like it. Actually, I'd say you sound jealous."
"Jealous? Please. Why would I be jealous of him? That's ridiculous."
"If you say so" Nico said smirking.
Will turned around from dragging him and sent Nico a glare. He huffed and then managed to drag Nico inside the infirmary and sit him down on a bed.
Will got what he needed and turned to Nico, who has already taking his shirt off.
Will smirked "Eager."
Nico glared at him behind his blushing "Shut up. You were going to tell me to do it anyway."
Will continued smirking, even knowing it was true. Nico had gone through so many check ups, he already knew all the steps.
Will put his stethoscope on and put the other end to Nico's chest. He put a hand on the boy's shoulder and told him to breathe a few times, moving the end of the stethoscope around his chest.
Nico looked away, as usual. Will wasn't surprised. he knew Nico hated having to be shirtless, so he did it all quick so the son of Hades could put it on again, but still enjoying the view as it lasted.
What? He had to enjoy the fact that the guy he liked was shirtless and not looking at him staring, okay?
After the check up ended, Nico got up, grumpy. Will had put the things away again and frowned when he saw Nico's face.
"What? Are you mad at me?"
"You need to stop thinking I can't do anything without your help, Will. Seriously, I'm not a child!"
Will's face got red "I'm just trying to make sure you don't get yourself killed, your idiot!"
Nico got up to Will's face "Well, I don't need a babysitter!"
"I'm not your babysitter, I'm your friend!"
"Well you're acting like Bianca! Why can't you see that I can take care of myself?"
"We just care about you! Don't be stupid!"
"I'm not being stupid, I'm just tired!"
"Tired of what?!"
Nico exploded "Of you!"
Will stayed quiet. He didn't want to admit it to himself, but that comment hurt him. He was just trying to help.
"Okay. Then I won't bother you anymore."
Nico's face fell a bit. "Will…"
But he had already left the infirmary, slamming the door shut. Nico ran after him, but when he got out of the building, the son of Apollo was too far for him to reach him. To be honest, it had been hard to run without getting out of breath fast. And it was obvious Will would not be there to take care of him if he collapsed now.
Then it downed to Nico just how stupid he had been. He wanted him to be there to take care of him.
He sighed and decided he would look for him later; it was most likely he had gone missing for now, which was what he did when he needed to be alone.
Will was so mad and upset he could punch something. But it was probably not a good idea since he would probably hurt himself or possibly hurt a nymph, since he was in the middle of the forest.
He walked a lot and it was the start of the afternoon when he decide to go to the lake. He sat at the edge of it and stared at the water. He was so lost in thought, when Percy Jackson emerged from the water, he almost had a heart attack.
"Hey Will! Oh, sorry for scaring you…" Percy said, scratching the back of his neck.
"Huum… it's okay." Will said, looking at another direction.
"You're sure? You seem kind of out of it."
Will sighed. "It's nothing. Just had a fight."
"With Nico?"
Will got startled. "Huum… Yeah. How'd you know?"
Percy shrugged. "Guessed. It makes sense, I think. You look pretty upset, so I thought it would be Nico, since you guys are so close."
Will nodded a little. "Yeah… Well, apparently not enough"
Percy then sat beside Will on the edge of the lake. "What'd you mean?"
"We had a fight about… About some stuff. Like how I apparently care too much."
"Care too much?"
"Yeah… I yelled at him for summoning the dead again on the last quest and he snapped too."
"You mean Jules-Albert? Yeah, I almost wasn't able to catch him."
Will turned his head to the side and said in a bitter tone "Yeah"
Percy actually noticed it, and looked down, embarrassed. "Huum… Sorry if I offended you or something…"
Will got surprised "How could've you?"
"Well… You like Nico, right?"
Will's jaw dropped and he blushed. He tried to speak, but nothing came out for a while. He then finally sighed. "Well, it doesn't matter anymore, does it?"
Percy smiled "I think it does. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm not his type."
Will smiled a bit. "He told you that?"
"Yeah. Just like that."
Will actually laughed a little "That sounds like something he would do."
"Yeah."
Will then looked at Percy. "You just can't leave people to suffer alone, can you?"
Percy smiled. "According to Annabeth it's a gift. Or just annoying."
Will smiled. "I think it's both."
"Then it's settled."
"Thank you, Percy."
"It's okay. Well, I have to go back now. Hope you and Nico make up."
"Yeah, me too."
Nico had been looking for Will for what felt like hours. Could've been, for all he knew.
He had looked in the forest, the cabins, the pavilion, the cabins, the arena, everywhere!
So when he he was laying down on his bed in his cabin and heard a knock on the door, he jumped up to answer it.
he opened the door to find the blonde boy standing there, smiling. A wave of anger ran through Nico. He took Will by his collar and dragged him inside the cabin, before shutting the door with a slam.
"Huum…"
"Where the Hades were you?!"
"Walking around."
"Walking around? I looked for you in all the possible places. It's 7 p.m., you idiot! Last time I saw you it was breakfast! You then storm away, no one in your cabin knew where you were! No at the whole freaking camp knew where you were! Actually, where were you?"
"I walked for a bit in the woods and then headed to the lake."
Nico's face fell. "The lake! I knew I had forgotten somewhere! Well, that doesn't matter. What were you even doing at the lake?"
"At first I was just trying to clear my head, but I found Percy there. We talked a bit and he gave me some advice."
"Percy Jackson gave you advice?"
"Yeah, I know. He's surprisingly good at it."
"What did he even tell you?" Nico asked curiously.
"He told me he's not your type."
"That's it? That's his advice?"
"It actually helped me. He told me not to worry because apparently you don't like him that way."
Nico's face went red. "I've told you this before! And the only way you actually listen to it, it has to come from Percy?"
"Well… I'm sorry, okay? Look, I'm not here to fight more. I want to just forget this fight."
"Oh, but I wanna say something too."
"Nico…" Will tried to say, but got cut off.
"Look, I don't wanna fight either. Actually, I just wanna stop fighting all together. This whole thing actually started because you got jealous and I was stupid not to notice I actually like when you get all worried."
"… You do?"
"Yeah… Don't make a big deal out of it."
"Oh, I'm so making a big deal out of this. I can't believe you yelled at me, and then said you like it! Gods, Nico!"
"Look, I just like having someone who cares so much for me. I think I freaked out because it reminded me of Bianca. It just felt like having part of her here again. I… I feel happier when you take care of me. And that's so cheesy and it almost hurts to say that... But I like you."
Will's eyes widened. "Excuse me, what?"
Nico looked away. " I like you, you big idiot."
Will remained without reaction. He was so shocked, he felt as if he wouldn't be able to move again.
Nico looked at Will again, sighing. "Would you please, say something? I feel so stupid after breaking down like this."
Will blinked a few times and tried to speak, but he didn't even know what to say.
Nico stared at Will. "Please? Even if it's to say what I said it's completely ridiculous, say something!"
Will then got out of his stupor, feeling Nico would be hurt if he didn't say anything. "Ridiculous? You're serious? You probably just said the most perfect sentence you could've said."
"I did?"
"You did."
"Then…"
"I like you too."
"You do?"
"So much."
"… So what now?"
"Well, I suppose I'm going to kiss you. If you don't mind, of course."
"I don't mind."
"Good."
A/N: Oh my gods, my own fanfic gave me the chills. That ending… I seriously can't believe I did that. Okay, enough of over reacting over my own fic. I hope you guys loved it!
