Just a normal day in the Junes food court and she had to do that didn't she? Chie-senpai shouldn't overreact to such things! Aww...

"Wha! Naoto-kun, what the hell are you doing?!" What does it look like Chie-senpai? I have no problems with arachnids like this so why shouldn't I take it away from her?

"I fail to see what all the fuss is about." I respond as I suddenly notice that most of the group had moved away from me. Yosuke-senpai, Kanji-kun, Rise-san, Yukiko-senpai and of course Chie-senpai were all staring at me for reasons I don't quite comprehend. I only have a spider in my hand! As it starts to run forwards I move my hands to keep it in one place with a small smile spreading across my face.

"Dude, what is wrong with you?!" I glance at Yosuke as the spider comes to a halt.

"I could ask you the same." My response is casual as I resume watching the spider shift towards my wrist before I quickly stop it in its tracks. After all who would ever want a spider crawling up their sleeve? "Aww..." I murmur without noticing earning some shocked stares from my peers. What's their problem?

"No way dude..." I hear Kanji-kun speak with the slightest hint of fear evident in his voice.

"That's disgusting..." Yukiko-senpai's comment strikes a chord in me and glare up at her.

"It's hardly disgusting Yukiko-senpai. In fact I think its quite..." I hesitate as I search for the right word to describe the creature.

"Cute?" That'll do.

"Hmm... I suppose your right Kanji-kun. I do find it rather um... cute." I hate that word...

"Dude, that is some messed up stuff right there..." Thanks Yosuke-senpai, if only I could appreciate the comment. It's only just then that I realize how ridiculous they all look and can't help but smile under the brim of my cap.

"Aww... Look at that! Nao-chans gotten herself a stud! To bad Kanji!" Wait, what? Damn bear... What was that about Kanji-kun?

"No I haven't Teddie. I just don't see what the problem is and why people are scared of spiders like this one." I can't help but blush slightly as I catch Souji-senpai's amused gaze. He knew the truth after all. The spider suddenly drops of the side of my hand and dangles from a thread it created while my smile broadens slightly. I've always loved spiders.

"Just get rid of it already!" Chie yells again earning a disappointed expression from me. "Please Naoto-kun! Just kill it already!"

"Wh-what?" I stammer slightly as I attempt to process her request. Kill it? Why?

"Just kill the damn thing!" My gaze shifts to Kanji-kun in surprise before I glance back down at the small creature that had just landed back onto my left hand.

"I'm not going to kill it." I try to think of a way around this and only come up with one solution. "Um... I like spiders just as much as you probably like cats or dogs. I'm not going to kill it." His eyes widen at my plainly stated comment.

"How can you like something like that?!" I hear Rise-san screech and I turn to observe her terrified expression with slight amusement. "Just get rid of it!" I sigh in annoyance before taking the spider over towards a bush and gently guiding it onto one of it's branches. Are they happy now?

"Thanks Naoto-kun." Chie-senpai sighs with relief as she seems unaware of my disappointment at not being able to guide the small creature round the palms of my hands anymore. Taking a seat next to Souji-senpai I almost show a shocked expression on my face when he whispers in my ear.

"I'll catch that spider later and show it to her. Want to be around to see it?" All I can do is smile smugly and nod as discreetly as possible before the others notice.

"Hey... What are you to looking at?"

"Oh, nothing Chie-senpai. Absolutely nothing."
