And now I make a story with Flyff. Back in the day, I used to play the heck out of this...even though I never exceeded 40th level!
...Anyways, onto the story!
Prologue: My Life is Strange...
I woke up in some kind of black void. "What the heck's going on?" I asked myself. I stood up and looked around...and suddenly several holographic interfaces appear in front of me.
A banner appeared on top of them, that read 'Choose 7 to become parts of yourself'. Then, I noticed a banner under it: 'Prepare for the world of Madrigal.' Madrigal? Wha...What kind of world is that? The only world I know of with that name is...is...
...AM I BEING SENT INTO FLYFF?! Holy shit! Well, looks like I'm gonna need some help! PLEASE let these things help...
" Ok...let's look at these..." I looked at the interfaces, and many of them named stuff that's familiar. "These are...abilities...from various series..." I looked over the stuff from Fire Emblem and I found what I was looking for: 'Manakete – Mage Dragon'. I tapped the interface, which sunk in and whited out...
...And pain shot through my body. "GAH!" The pain, while going through my whole body, seemed concentrated on my ears. I grasped them...and something seemed to grow out of them. Soon, the pain subsided, and I checked my ears once more...and was shocked to feel them long and pointed like an elf's...'No, not like an elf's,' I realized, 'Like a Manakete's.' As I realized this, something appeared in front of me: a sparkle. I place my hand under it, and a round, black object fell into my hand...a Mage Dragonstone.
My eyes widened...this...whatever it was...was giving me abilities. I searched through the thing some more...and found 'Alteran Nanites and Repository Knowledge'. There was a note on that selection that said 'With mind augmented to withstand Repository Knowledge without mental rewriting'. Grinning, I selected that one next. Then, I felt my brain burst, as knowledge poured in. Soon, I had many of the Ancients' greatest secrets in my head...and a body-full of Nanites to build them.
I kept looking, and soon, I found 'Protoss Psionics - Khala', 'Protoss Psionics – Void', and 'Zerg Biology'. I selected all of those. Not much seemed different, once the pain subsided, but I heard a whispering in my ears...and feelings of loving warmth. From reading Abyssal Angel's 'Legacy of the Overmind', I knew with CERTAINTY that it was probably a member of my Swarm I've yet to meet, but maybe will soon.
I continued looking and found one that made me both giddy and conflicted: 'Borg Cybernetics and Collective Knowledge'. I remember the dangers of experimenting with Borg Tech, but...if it's being offered as an ability, that COULD mean that I'm gonna be able to control it...and, this Borg Tech could be REAL useful when mixed with the Alteran stuff...I selected it, and next thing I knew, I felt Borg Nanoprobes intermingling with the Alteran Nanites. As Gul Dukat (mainly the Youtube User, but I guess the Cardassian also did so) would say, 'Magnificient!'.
I went over it, and that was 6 out of 7 chosen. I went back to the Fire Emblem section...and paused: the 'Usage of Fire Magic', 'Usage of Thunder Magic', 'Usage of Wind Magic', 'Usage of Anima Magic', 'Usage of Dark Magic', 'Usage of Light Magic', and 'Usage of Staves' are all whited out, like my selections, with a message, in bold green letters, stating 'Included with' and in blue letters 'Manakete – Mage Dragon'. "So...selecting the Mage Dragon gives me all forms of Fire Emblem Magic...that actually makes a ton of sense..." I mutter to myself.
So, I went over the selections again, going through them all. Many of them I could imitate with what I already had (Electrokinesis to Usage of Thunder Magic, D&D Psionics to the Protoss Psionics, etc), while others merely involved stuff that was inferior to what I had (Why would I need a Goa'uld parasite when I could EASILY add Naquadah to my bloodstream using Alteran knowledge? And why should I only decide on one Marvel Symbiote, when I can mix the Alteran and Borg stuff, and artificially create ALL of them?). I kept searching, looking for something I could give myself...until I found it: Undine (Species 8472) Genesis...The ability to make Species 8472...I practically hammered the selection: Species 8472 was one of my favorite, if not my ABSOLUTE favorite, Star Trek Races.
Now, that that's done, I can move onto the next area...suddenly, a gate opens...and I get sucked into it...
Well...that's the start of an interesting story...let's see where it goes from here...
