Dangerous Emotions
TYKA
Chapter One: Awkward Tensions.
How can anyone not feel so self-conscious right now? – The world champion thought to himself as couldn't help but notice the familiar figure who was distracting him within the corner of his view. That lone-wolf has been standing there for half an hour straight with no sign of moving anywhere soon.
Attempting to focus on the line of fizzy drink cans that were lined up on the ground, Tyson's muscles went floppy and his brain clouded with frustration. Eventually he gave up with trying to concentrate on his training and stood up straight to finally turn his full attention to his rival.
"What the hell do you want?" The Dragoon holder finally snapped a little impolite than he expected. "Because you are really putting me off."
Unfolding his arms, the Russian who was leaning against the dojo wall allowed a sly grin to crease its way in the corners of his mouth. "I'm learning. Got a problem with that?" Kai answered in a dry tone, not taking his crimson eyes off the big headed beyblader for one second.
Tyson then grinned cockily and he lowered his launcher to strut his way over to the Dranzer holder. "Oh I see. You are taking notes from the best now are you?" The Granger had to admit it – Kai's gaze looked a little more interesting than normal. Kai's curious and un-emotional eyes were gazing their way around Tyson's masculine figure like he was a prey that he could eat up within minutes once he'd sunk his claws into him.
The tension at this point then turned into a whole new direction – It went from awkward to competitive as soon as Kai stood up straight to save his pride. "You seriously think this is about the competition still don't you?" He arrogantly snarled and expressed that grin more vibrantly on his dry lips.
"Huh?" Tyson blinked with confusion and took a step back out Kai's over powering presence. "Then why are you here? To eye me up?" He then laughed at the slight joke at the end and he rubbed the back of his neck anxiously. "Okay, maybe that joke was a little too far."
Kai then closed his eyelids and he turned his head into another direction, it was almost like he was trying to hide something. "You need to grow up." The blue haired male then walked forward and barged his way past the younger teammate.
A gasp left his drying throat and Tyson burst out laughing again. "You need to grow up Tyson." He mocked playfully, trying to prove to Kai that, that comment didn't bother him one bit. Despite that it always did a little.
"Whatever."
"Whatever."
Losing his patients, the Hiwatari turned around and growled. "Fuck…"
"Off." Tyson loved every minute of this, he had tears of joy building up in his teddy bear brown eyes and his toned arms were wrapped around his wrenching stomach. "Oh Kai you are just too easy to wind up. Why don't you just come ask me to train with you? Instead of staring at me like a boy with a crush."
"You are so full of yourself Granger." Kai snapped and then continued to walk. "Besides, I've learnt everything I need to know by watching you."
"Maybe so, but at least I am proud of myself Kai. Perhaps you should try it one day."
Once again that caught the Bladebreaker team leaders attention as he stopped in his tracks once more. This time, he turned his head around to look back at the champion and his heart skipped a vicious beat. "Don't ever tell me what to do." He threatened trying to keep his cool.
Tyson's eyes were still twinkling and his cheeks had now lit up like a pink sunset. "Fine, I will ask you. Do you want to come and train with me Kai? I could REALLY learn a thing from you. Or two if you're lucky." He sniggered to himself and closed his eyes.
But his eyes soon flung wide open when a beyblade slashed its way through Tyson's clothed shoulder. "Launch your beyblade. Now!" Kai then already began to chase his rival around the dojo garden with his Dranzer beyblade. It was grinding against his top converse trainers and attempting to slash his feet.
"Hey! That's not funny! Kai! Come on! I'm sorry!" Tyson yelped as he darted around the garden like a headless chicken. "I said I'm sorry!"
Sitting on the sofa with a new pair of socks on his feet, the Granger sulked as he sat next to his team manager. She'd taken control of the television and placed on the Disney film Frozen whilst stitching together his shoes. "Urgh, this is so boring Hilary…." He paused when he realised something.
Why is she in control of the television? This is my house!
A smile appeared on Hilary's peached lips and she sat back into the sofa relaxed. "Unless you want to fix your shoes yourself. I suggest you leave this movie on." She answered and winked sarcastically as she continued to stitch his shoes.
Why is he even making me stitch these!? He's got enough money to buy some more. Talk about frugal and being tight.
"Oh don't you start picking on me too." Tyson sighed heavily and slouched on the chair. "I swear you only do it because the guys aren't around."
She then took the dominant role of the situation by changing the subject. "Why did you and Kai fall out again?" Hilary then shifted her eyes over to him to spare a glance. She admired everything this champion did, despite that he was too cocky for his own good sometimes – Hilary knew it was his fault, but it was just always entertaining to hear Tyson's side.
"It was really weird Hilary. He told me he was watching me train, but I really don't think he was."
The non-blader female then stopped what she was doing and rested the shoe on her lap. "What do you mean?" She asked curiously, noticing how Tyson's voice had gone softer and concerned.
"Its probably me just being me. But it felt like he was eyeing me up…."
"Oh get out of here Tyson." Hilary burst out laughing loudly. "Kai dates some pretty girls, have you seen them?!"
"Hilary please…"
"That is probably the most ridiculous thing I have heard from you yet Tyson." The manager rolled her eyes and took a deep breath to regain her self-control. "Not everyone fancies you. Gosh, you sound more egotistical than Kanye West right now."
"Why am I offended by that?" Tyson blinked and sat up straight. "And will you listen to me for one minute! Women!"
"Okay then." She placed the needle and shoe down onto the ground and folded her arms as she turned around to face him fully, she crossed her legs on the sofa and eyed him like an inspector. "Continue then."
Tyson then stood up from the sofa with outrage. "You know what? Forget it! I'm going to bed."
"But I was listening!?" Hilary screeched. "You are so childish Tyson. Why can't you just realise that Kai was probably watching you're every movement to become what you are."
He didn't listen, instead Tyson just walked out the livingroom and went straight to his bedroom.
Well, I tried to get it off my chest and nobody is taking me seriously – Even the girl who I would almost consider to be my best friend didn't listen. What a joke! How will anyone believe me when I witnessed Kai Hiwatari eyeing me up like a horny school boy? Every time I bent down to pick up my beyblade from the ground, his eyes were glued to my ass despite that he did try to look discreet about it. It just doesn't make sense! Next time, I will so give that guy a reason to leave when I'm training, perhaps a fart or two might do the trick.
A/N: This is an idea that I have written down a while ago and just never got around to writing it. I'm sorry if it's a little brief or sloppy, I haven't written in a while and my brain has gone – Blah. I'm attending a writing course in a few weeks so I really need to sharpen up ;). This story is something short and sweet, so it won't drag on unless you guys want it too and I will have chapter two out soon! :D. So let me know what you think with an honest review or message. Lots of Love XOAnn13OX AKA LittleAGranger.
