u UT Hello guys! This is my first story here and it's a Tiva story. Please forgive me for my mistakes, english is not my first language.

Disclaimer: If I owned NCIS or any of its characters, I would not need to write about them to feel better.

Hope you all enjoy it. This is another high school fic (I hope people would write more of them). Characters will appear as the fic goes.

Thank you!

Chapter 1

She didn't know what to do anymore. It seemed like all the things that she was planning were going wrong. While she was sitting by the window of the plane that was going to drop her off at America like a bomb was dropped off on a war, she started to think about the last few days she had at her country.

She was sixteen and lived with her family in Israel. There was her father Eli David the greater director of Mossad, a man of a few words. He was not even close to the picture of the perfect father but for her it wad enough. Her mother Rivka David was a housekeeper and the best unprofessional singer she had had ever heard. She was the opposite of Eli: caring and happy. Ari Geiger-David was her oldest half-brother from one of her father's affairs with a woman called Neema Geiger long dead. He was like a hero to her but had a temper just like their father's. He was three years older than she was. He was serving to Mossad since he was twelve as a punishment that only god knows what for and was becoming gradually like one of her father's soldier. And last but not even close to be the less, that's was her eleven years old little sister Tali David, the most carefree and happy kid she'd had ever seen. They used to play a lot around the house and fill the house with their laughter. It stopped just before her father obligated her to work for Mossad with him.

The day she started at her father's agency, was the day she wished that he died. So she confronted him at dinner one day. Their argument started to grow rapidly to a point where she started to yell just as he raised his hand and slapped her across the face. Three days later he announced at dinner that she was leaving for an exchange program the next week. No one said or did anything against his decision and this raised in her a sentiment of rejection. From that day on she was never the same. All she did was complain and fight with her family. She was very angry at them but Tali.

It all happened five days later when she was at a cafe across from school having lunch with some of her friends. She was sipping on her tea when she saw on the TV a photo of her father. It said that he was dead. But not only him: "The greater director of Mossad Eli David and his family were involved on a car crash this morning. No survivors." She broke down in tears and wished she could go back in time and change everything, anything. Now she'd have to go to Washington for good. She was going to live with her father's friend.

She was so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed that the plane had already boarded. So she grabbed her stuff and quickly left to the lobby of the airport. She found a couple with a girl by their side. The man had white navy-cut hair and deep blue eyes and the green eyed woman had short red hair and the biggest and brightest smile ever seen. The girl wore black and has two pigtails on. Her black lips had too much teeth for their own good and she seemed very excited. It was almost laughable. They were holding a card with her name written on it. She sighed deeply and tried to put on a smile. The woman with the whitest teeth ever walked to her and hugged her.

"Welcome home, Ziva!" She whispered in her ear while holding her close. She knew she was in good hands.
