Chapter One:

Rent

Tsuna scowled at the white envelope in his hands, he could already feel an oncoming headache. Despite living in a small-almost- unlivable apartment on the "bad side" of Namimori Tsuna's landlord still had the audacity to increase whenever he pleases with no regards to his tenants. He's dealt with many things in the past but he couldn't help it when he felt a small bit offended by his landlord's down the envelope, the twenty-six-year-old man decided it would be better to curl up in his bed and forget about the problems surrounding his life.

After a long day of nothing but work all he wanted to do is sleep everything away. Expelling all the anxiety from his bones and rest. However, he didn't get that chance when suddenly a loud knock ruined all chances of peace. Tsuna groaned, he knew there were only two people who would come visit him.

The first being his neighbor, a young man who has a charming knack for inventing. Spanner is a relatively nice boy when he isn't keeping everyone awake with his work at night. There have been so many complaints about him Tsuna is honestly surprised he's still able to live in the complex. If it wasn't for his good looks no doubt Spanner would be able to step foot into the building. Tsuna and Spanner only had few conversations but knew each other well enough to be considered friends. So he knew that the person knocking on his door couldn't be Spanner because he goes to work as soon as Tsuna comes back from it.

That left only the second person, the thieving landlord, Kawahira. He could be considered a nice person if you overlook the fact he increases rent without telling anyone. Letting out an exasperated sigh, Tsuna stood from his semi-comfortable bed and opened the splintery wooden door of his apartment. As expected when he opened the door he came face to face with Kawahira smiling down on him.

"Hello, Tunayoshi-san, I apologize for bothering you so early after you've come back but rent is due today."

Another sigh escaped him as he scavenged around his "room" for his rent money. "Here you go Kawahira-san," he said as he reluctantly handed over his hard earned money to his thieving landlord.

"Thank you," was echoed through the empty halls as Kawahira disappeared. Sometimes that's just how he is and it can't be helped. Closing the door, Tsuna once again, collapsed onto his bed.

"I want to die."
