Sitting on that fallen tree where Edward left her, Bella was trying, and failing, to comprehend what had just happened. Edward had just dragged her out into the middle of the woods, told her that he didn't love her, couldn't love her, and left her there. He didn't give her a chance to talk, he didn't give her much of a chance to do or say anything. He just said his piece and left her, fully expecting her to shatter into a million different pieces. He didn't care about her. That much was clear. He never had. She had always known that he couldn't really love her. At first his perfection had been blinding her, but now it was obvious that he was just a self-obsessed vampire who thought that the world revolved around him. Bella was just glad that she was finally seeing things clearly, and not through the lens of his vampire charms.
There was light through the trees, she could just see Charlie's house as she kept up her slow amble back. As she got closer she saw Charlie's crusier in the driveway... she hoped he hadn't been there long, she didn't want him to worry, especially after that James fiasco. She wished she had done it differently, that she hadn't done what her mother had done. She walked up to the front porch and went through the door. "Is that you Bells?"
Okay this is pretty bad but I really wanted to try and put something up here... I'll probably end up not continuing it at all but oh well
