A/N: This is just a little oneshot I came up with for Alice and Jasper. It's really short, I know, but it's fluffy. Oh, and Emmett gets the door slammed in his face. Enjoy! Peace!

What Goes Without Saying
(Alice)
I was sitting plainly in our room, staring at the wall in front of me. I had been for a few hours now. The day was truly becoming quite boring. My credit cards were maxed out, so I had to wait until the payment got sent in to shop again. I tried borrowing Rosalie and Bella's, but they were being stubborn. Selfish vampires. I decided to go see what Jazzy was doing. He was in his study, sitting on the beg leather armchair. The book looked like another one of his Civil War biographies.
(Jasper)
I was just sitting in my study, when Alice walked in. She came over, and sat down on my lap. I let go of the book with one hand, and wrapped my arms around her small frame. She leaned back, and closed her eyes. I just kept reading. These were about the only alone times we used. We didn't go anywhere near Emmett and Rosalie's time, we just relaxed. It never even involved much talking.
(Alice)
I lay there for a while, just basking in the moment. Then my vision blurred, and the room became the hallway. Emmett was walking down to borrow one of Jasper's books. The Fall of the Mayan Empire. I was actually amazed he owned anything that wasn't about the war.
(Emmett)
Stupid school. I really know all about the Mayans, but we're still required to read this stupid book. I stomped down the hall to Jasper's study. Why is it called a study? It's more like an office. Or a library. Or a prison, all those books seriously scare me. Now what was I doing? Oh right! I had to get that stupid book for school. Stupid school.
(Alice)
I really wasn't in the mood for Emmett to interrupt us, so I scanned the shelves and grabbed his book. Right as he was opening the door, I shoved the book to his chest, and slammed the door in his face.
"Whatever, creepy pixie vamp…" I heard him mumble as he left. I smiled, and turned back to my beloved Jasper. I hopped back onto his lap, and stayed there for the rest of the night.
