Light engulfs her very being.

I stare at her with wonder and desire.

I ace just to be beside her.

My sane mind screams that I should be fleeing.

For a man like me doesn't deserve such a mythical being.

She glides across the floor

A elegant smile, for nothing but decor.

Her eyes gleam, but only with loneliness,

perhaps I can save this distressed goddess?

She looks my way,

but what dare I say?

Scream out all my emotion?

Admit my undying devotion?

She is now in front of me.

She smiles and her eyes shine, is that hope I see.

She lifts her hand slowly, as if to not scare me.

Whispering in my ear,

erased are all my fears.

Now it is just her and me,

my beautiful goddess.

My Evangeline.
