Nenya flared bright on her finger, as with Song and Ring she leveled the walls of Dol Guldur. Long had she wished to destroy this foul blight upon the face of Arda.

Yet it was not the tower she truly wished to destroy. She remembered from Ages long past, another tower controlled by the same master, who was finally no longer a threat. A tower that had been destroyed by Song, and a Love that death itself could not hinder.

She too, loved. But she was a Noldo, and that love brought with it a defiance and a hatred of those who had destroyed those she had held most dear.

And so with that hatred and long held desire to destroy the works of Sauron, she threw down this last symbol of his power.

"Now you are avenged, my beloved brother," Galadriel whispered, a single tear sliding down her face.
