Have you ever seen the top of a cloud? It's like a long, white, field of fluffy cotton balls or cotton candy stretching across the entire expanse of the sky. Luna Lovegood loved the clouds. She felt as if she could take off her shoes and float across the clouds - as if anything in the world were possible.

That's where Luna lived most of the time - the clouds. She daydreamed about floating above the clouds. Most people ridiculed her for believing in strange creatures and living in her mind, but she didn't care what they all thought. It didn't matter.

If Luna had a choice, she would just let herself go and live in her mind all the time. She didn't really have much of a reason to stay in the real world.

No reasons except one.

Neville Longbottom.

Her best friend. He had showed her the good things in life; reasons to stay with her feet planted on the ground. He may have doubted himself, but Luna never did. She thought he was the bravest, kindest, handsomest boy she'd ever met.

He was the boy she was in love with.

Sure, there were many perks about living up in the clouds, but Neville was the one who pulled her down from there to real life. Neville was the one who showed her how to love.

There were just some things that couldn't be done without Neville.

Luna didn't want to live without him.
