It's in the stars, it's been written
in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
and we can learn to love again
-Just give me a reason.
(P!nk)
Zach and Cammie had always loved eachother. Always. They just both seemed to get hurt or be uncomfortable with the relationship. But their love never for each other never stopped.
They're like two peas in a pod. For them there appeared to be no other fish in the sea, just the other however hard they tried to move on, it never worked.
"I love you." She spoke softly, she squinted a little from the sun shining into her eyes, bringing out golden specks hidden in the sapphires of blue.
"I know, I love you too." He replied, just as softly. Reaching out and playing with the ends of her hair.
"But it hurts to much." She said, her voice wavering from calm to solemn.
"I know." He nodded, then stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her. "Cam." He spoke again, "I think we should break up."
They both pulled away, and she seemed to have tears in her eyes, though she understood. "Me too." She nodded, letting the tears fall without wiping them away. They hugged once more, then he left in the direction they came whereas she stayed where she stood, staring at where he was once standing a moment before.
It seemed to simple to let go, yet it wasn't. She had to move on. So did he. And so they would.
Cammie's phone then vibrated in her pocket, letting her know that someone had texted her.
She opened the text message, and read it.
Wanna meet up and go to the diner?
-J.A.
She texted back immediately, saying she'd love to and that she would meet him there in an hour. This was it, a new beginning.

Zach walked along the street alongside the park then sat down on a nearby bench, watching the passersby; it was afterall a sunny day. After a few minutes Zach recognised a girl heading towards him, it was Eva Alvarez, one of Cammie's old school friends.
"Hey, Zach." She said as she reached him once she caught his eye, she smiled. Her hair a silky light brown, complimenting her hazel eyes.
"Hi, Eva." He returned the smile, "Fancy seeing you here."
She laughed a little, "Yeah. Same to you. Hey um, I was just about to grab some coffee, want to come? You seem pretty alone here."
He smiled, "Sure." He stood up, and they began walking towards the near Starbucks, "I'm buying." He said.
This was it, a new beginning. For both of them.
So this is the first part of the Two-shot story, I hope you liked it!
