Snow White had called a meeting. She had recently been reunited with her husband and daughter, as well as her dear friends, who she hadn't seen in twenty eight years. She was finally happy. Regina couldn't harm them, magic doesn't exist in Storybrooke, and she was free for the first time in what felt like forever. She was ecstatic!

And while most of her friends, Ruby, Granny, Ella and Sean, the Dwarves, Belle to name a few, shared her happiness, she knew one of her friends didn't. Grumpy. Despite his initial joy at being freed from the curse, he quickly returned to his usual signature mood. This filled her with sorrow, for she knew he once was called Dreamy, and knew the story of his loss. He was always serious and sometimes depressed.

No more.

She's had it with the snarky comments and his pessimistic demeanour. It wouldn't do for her friends to be affected with his negativity. She hadn't minded so much at home, in the Enchanted Forest, after all, she herself rarely had any hope. She was selfish before and too concerned with her own problems, (namely being wanted for treason), and ignored the fact that one of her most loyal and dear friends felt just as bad. But being Mary Margaret made her realise that she wasn't the only one to feel down sometimes. Except Grumpy felt that way all the time.

She had an idea. She was going to save her friend from himself and help him become Dreamy once more. She discussed her idea with her husband and he agreed readily. She recalled what he said to her when she first approached the subject. "After everything the dwarves have done for us, supporting us despite our statuses as outlaws, we owe it to them to try and help one of their own. Even if the person in question doesn't want to be helped."

She asked Belle if they could use the library for their meeting and then invited the six remaining dwarves, Granny, Ruby, Marco, Archie, Henry and Emma. As her family and closest friends they were likely to help her in her mission.

She address the room confidently, "You all know why we are here. One of our closest friends, Grumpy, is in an almost constant state of depression. His kin," she broke of and glanced at the dwarves warmly before continuing, "Who have known him since birth, once knew him as Dreamy. I have been told that he was always optimistic and full of hope, and it saddens me to have never known him like this. While we all love him the way he is, David and I want to help him find himself again, or at least become happy again. Does anyone have any ideas?"

"I could encourage him to volunteer at the animal shelter?" proposed David.

Ruby piped up "I could keep him company when he's at the diner?"

Happy tentatively offered, "He was once in love with a fairy, I think her name was Astrid?"

Henry stood up suddenly, and everyone stopped speaking to hear what the 11-year-old had to say, he had helped save them after all. "Operation Dreamy then?" he exclaimed excitedly, and turned to his mother, "Operation Cobra gave everyone back their happy endings except Grumpy! We need to help him find his happy ending again," he almost begged,

"Of course we'll help him kiddo. He's our friend."

And with that the group of both family and friends dispersed and embarked on one of their most difficult and trying challenges yet, helping Grumpy on becoming Dreamy again.
