OK! I am only writing this so that people get the idea that Ian/Erin is an awesome couple.
I'm not really a brilliant writer, so if some more people were to write a story with this couple, then I would be overjoyed lol
Please!
Ok, onto the story! It is set before Final Destination 3 and it is a one shot!
Peer Trouble
It's high school. There's bound to be people who don't like you. Think about it, in a school there is approximately 1800 people. The possibility of everyone liking you is ridiculous. It's basically impossible. But what to do when the whole school seems to dislike you? That was the predicament I was faced with. And, no matter what the school counsellor says, it's a bit tricky to overcome. In high school there is no sudden friendship if you smile at someone, all that leads to is a black eye. And if you act friendly towards someone who makes your life difficult, you just get mocked. So, I asked myself the question, what can I do to resolve this? And one morning as I was putting all my books into my locker, the answer hit me. I can't do anything. I can't force people to do anything. This knocked my self-esteem slightly but now that I had slipped out of fantasy world, I realised there WAS something I could do. I could find someone else who was in the same situation as me.
That's how I met Ian. I was sitting by myself at lunchtime, but this time with high hopes. While munching my sandwich, I subtley scanned the cafeteria for anyone else on their own. First, I spotted a girl with brown hair who was sat quietly playing with her food. She looked as dismal as I usually did, but within seconds, a jock came up to her and she smiled and started animatedly talking to him.
I sighed.
Maybe this idea was as bad as my last one. I packed up the remains of my lunch, suddenly feeling very full. I walked over to the litter bin in a dazed way and in a very ungraceful way, I tripped over a backpack.
I heard the cafeteria fill with laughter and felt my face burn up. I didn't need this... not now. I began to untangle my legs from the backpack when I spotted an anarchy patch stuck on it. With a puzzled glance, I raised my head to look at its owner.
Black gelled hair with subtle eyeliner. Dark, baggy clothes and many studded bracelets. He was looking at me with one eyebrow raised and I smiled. This was the guy I had been looking for.
It seemed as if fate had brought us together. We introduced ourselves and immeadiately started hanging out. Within a week we were inseperable and classed each other as best friends. I had finally stopped dreading school, and I was happy.
We had only been friends for a month when Ian had kissed me. It was a gentle kiss after I had passed my GCSE exams, but it meant the world to me.
And since then, we had been the 'reject' couple to the rest of the school, but that doesn't matter. I don't care what other people think anymore. If they don't like me then good for them. All that matters is that I'm happy and I love Ian.
THE END
