Pauley: I'm so sorry for this! Please, feel free to hate me.

Henry watched from the shadows in fear at what was unfolding in front of him but he knew he couldn't do anything about it. The curse had broken, just like he'd wanted, but things weren't going as planned. When the mob had advanced on his Mom's house, Emma had tried to stop them but Whale had gone crazy. Emma was dead, a bullet through her skull. Henry had been there, Emma's blood was still sticky on his hands from where he'd tried to wake her up. Snow and James had been taken prisoner and Henry was running, hiding, terrified of what was going to happen to him.

And then there was this. His Mom had been marched into the center of town and he was watching on in horror as they lead her onto a platform, towards a block. He'd paid enough attention in History to know what was happening. They were planning on decapitating her. Henry didn't think he had any tears left, but he was wrong as they started to flow again. His Mom was forced to her knee's, her head forced down over the block and a man in a hood raised his axe high. Henry couldn't look, but he couldn't look away either so he screwed his eyes shut, a sickening thunk resounding through his ears. And like that it was all over. There was nothing left for the boy.

"There! Look!" He heard the shouts and his eyes snapped open. They'd seen him. He started to try and run, but he couldn't and before he knew it, strong arms were encircling him, holding him as he was being dragged.

"Henry! Henry!" He was being shook, a voice shouting his name again and again. As he too was carried to the block, he caught a glimpse of Rumplestilskin standing off to the side, his maniacle smirk present on his face and everything became clear. He had no way out, Rumple was in charge and his family was dead.

He accepted his fate now, allowing himself to be forced down on the block.

There was a stinging pain before nothing. And then in front of him was Emma and his Mom, both of them smiling slightly as they held their arms open for him. It may not have been how he planned, but he had his family all together now.

Pauley: I'm sorry! I don't know what possessed me to do this!
