A/N: Day 4 of Zutara week! Today's theme is Secret. I hope you all like it ^^ This is Au.

This had to be the hardest prompt to right, it was really hard to get an idea.

Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar the Last Airbender

Brown haired girl next to a black hair guyed sighed. Currently her and Zuko were laying side by side on her bed. The door was open revealing the bright blue room to anyone who passed, not like anyone would though, nobody was home and her brother was at his girlfriend's house.

"Zuko?" She asked looking at him.

"Yes Katara?" He put his glaze to hers, holding eye contact.

"Do you have a secret?"

"Why would you ask that?" He answered defending himself.

"Well you seem to be defending yourself. Does that mean you do?" Her curious mind often got the best of her and right now her mind was turning with curiousity, she wouldn't stop now.

"I'm not defending myself. I'm simply asking a question." He huffed.

"Well tell me. Or do I have to guess." She grinned leaning towards him. "Or is it that you don't trust me?" She looked away actting hurt.

"I trust you. I just don't have a secret." Zuko defended himself further. "Tara, guess what."

"You know what I have to guess." She smiled. "Your secret."

"Well your guessing isn't going to do well my dear. I have no secret."

"Everyone has a secret Zuko."

"Even you." He eyes darted to her with a smrick on his mouth.

"Ummm..." Katara stuttered and looked away. "No of course not."

Zuko had a smug expression on his face. "Oh now now Katara. Now your the one who is lying."

"I am not!" She wouldn't look at him. Which proved his point of her lying.

"Well..." He thought about it for a second. "I will tell you mine if you tell me yours."

She looked at him with curious eyes again. "Really?"

He smiled softly at her. "Yes. No laughing though alright."

She nodded. "I promise. No laughing at mine either"

"I promise. You go first" He urged her.

"Alright..." She looked down. "Well when I was little my mother sort of well..." She trailed off.

"Go on." Zuko grinned at his nervous girlfriend.

"I still have my favorite stuff animal from when I was little..." She held her head down.

Zuko looked at her and she tilted her head towards him. "That's nothing to be embarrassed about sweetie." Even though he wanted to laugh he wouldn't. It is embrassing but not as much as his. "Can I see it?"

"Sure.." she smiled swightly, glad he didn't laugh in his face. Getting off from the bed she went over to the side of her desk and took out a small duck. the duck looked old but it was still in good condiction. Placing it down in front of her and Zuko she sat down.

"It's cute." He grinned and patted the duck's head. "Does it have a name?"

"Yeah. Her name is Kya." she sighed and looked down. "I got her after my mother died."

Zuko kissed her head softly in comfort. Katara grinned and said. "So now tell me yours."

He groaned." Fine fine. Okay when I was younger I had action figures. They are still in the attic too."

"Aw that's cute Zuko." She smiled at him. "Maybe I can see them sometime" Sh was thinking about all the other times she could find up in his attic.

"No it isn't." He muttered and his eyes widened. "How about no. You won't be going up in the attic."

"It is, and thast can be discussed another time." Katara kissed his lips lightly. "Thankyou."

"For what?" He asked.

"Trusting me." she smiled sweetly at him, her blue eyes shineing.
