(A.N.)Hey! This is my first fanfic, but I am to please, so if you see something wrong, please point it out. I was inspired to write this from the scene at the end of the Broken Steel DLC, simply because it was in need of some emotion from the LW I was playing as
(a guy, to those who can't guess it,) to make the scene a bit more cheery, I mean, they freakin' annihilated the Capital Wasteland Enclave, so the scene deserved cheeriness. I wish I had a better idea of Sarah's character, but interactions with her were limited at best, so I did the best I could. R&R, I would say no flames, but people probably will anyway, so…go ahead if you want.

As obvious as it may be, I don't own Fallout or Bethesda. Wish I did, but I don't. I only own Zack, the LW in this fic, but not the LW in general.

"Warning! Warning!" the intercom blared, gracing the Enclave soldiers' ears with a shrill male voice' "intruders detected in the MBC,
guards on high aleaaaacchhh. The intercom beeped, signaling the end of the message. The guards posted next to the satellite orbital strike terminal glanced at each other uneasily, the yellow eyes of their helmets seeming to radiate fear; they knew of the attack, hell, Harold had been carted by missing an arm, and they knew of the so called Last, Best hope for Humanity penetrating the base, but they never thought he would make it this far. They knew of his fighting skills, and saying they were scared shitless was an understatement.

An officer wearing Hellfire armor uneasily approached a Tesla clad soldier, who seemed out of place. "You there, what are you doing? We're on High Alert! Get in gear!" he shouted. The figure turned and approached, at ease. "You know where the satellite uplink is? I need access immediately." "Who wants to know?" the officer shouted, ready to fire upon the figure in armor, only to feel pressure against his back. "I believe," a voice iterated form behind, "that wasn't the question. Now please, answer, or the shotgun might accidentally go off," the voice requested, pressing the gun further into the armor. "I-In the next room, down the hall," the Hellfire troop stuttered, scared as hell. The Tesla Armored figure removed his helmet, revealing a rugged male face, which was currently smiling. "Good boy," Zack, the Last, Best hope for Humanity said, "that saves me from looking around, Charon, you can put the gun away, we got what we needed." "Are you sure?" Charon asked, hopeful his friend, geez, he still wasn't used to that word, would change his mind. Zack appeared thoughtful, really just toying with Charon, and loving it.
"Ya, just hit em' over the head, he'll die anyway." Charon scowled, and pulled the trigger, the bullets making dents in the opposite side of the armor, and the officer fell. Zack simply shrugged and said, "Eh, hw WAS gonna' die anyway, come on."

"Shit! Sentinel, where in he!" Gallows shouted, as the alarm of the oncoming orbital strike rang. "He'll be here! He will get out alive!" Sarah Lyons shouted. Besides, he said he'd make it, and he never lies, she thought. A figure in Tesla armor blew through the door, and several guns immediately aligned with it, before another figure burst through, clad in T-51b crashed through as well. "Reveal your face!" sentinel Lyons shouted, only to see none other than Zack's face, holding a gargantuan smirk. "Talk louder, it's hard to hear over the strike beacon!" he said smugly. Sarah was visibly relieved to see him alive, but shouted, "On the Vertibird! You too, Charon! We are outta' here!"

As the Vertibird flew in the distance, missiles rained from the sky, destroying the MBC, and all aboard.
