Fool

"You fool" I sob as Snow falls to to ground and I rush forward to catch him.

"And here I was thinking you actually cared about me" Snow replied weakly

"Of course I care" I whisper, to quietly for him to hear

We knelt there on the cold floor holding each other. I couldn't move away so I just closed my eyes as relief crashed over me. Snow had come back to me.

"When all you cared about was getting your sister back" Snow almost pulls away but then I choke out.

"She loved you first."

"Oh Light," he was the one holding me now "I love you." My brain seemed to stop for a moment before I realized that Snow was still talking. "I began to love you the moments before Sarah turned to crystal in our arms." I looked up into his light blue eyes covered by that stupidly gorgeous blonde hair that was always to long "We belong to each other."

He kissed me then, soft and gentle at first, as if he was afraid of rejection. But soon it turned into something more desperate and hungry as we both gave in to a part of ourselves we hadn't truly accepted until that moment. Suddenly I was in his arms. We went to his chambers, but they were different, not the depressing cage I had seen before. These rooms were grander and more comfortable, the chambers of a patron or a king, or a hero. I was placed onto the bed only to find Snow on top of me, our kisses grew more desperate. It was strange to see Snow without his trench coat, but soon all of our clothes were on the floor and we had lost ourselves to one another.
