Madge was standing over a rock, by the waterfalls, waiting for Gale. He was getting some water and snacks for the both of them.

His mother insisted that they go out for a trip. Life in the palace was surely suffocating the both of them. Controversies and scandals keep popping out here and there.

Crown Prince Gale caught on a date with another lady.

The Crown Princess married the Prince for political advantage?

Crown Princess Madge, 'I do not engage in romantic relationships with people other than my husband.' Paparazzi say otherwise.

Crown Prince publicly humiliated at a charity ball.

Princess Madge allegedly spent a night with an unidentified man after her mother's funeral

Madge was in deep thoughts when someone pushed her into the water. She was caught by surprise and let out a small cry as she landed on the water. Luckily, the water was about five feet deep so she wasn't hurt. She turned to the culprit to find her husband grinning widely at her.

"What the hell Gale!" She said as she glared at her husband.

"Watch your words my princess. This is a public place." Gale then jumped into the water and waded to his wife. "You were so cute there, deep in your thoughts. What were you thinking of?"

"Us. Me. You."

"What about us?"

"Same old. Me marrying you so that my father can gain back his supporters and win the elections."

Madge frowned upon the idea that her father was using the royal family as influence to win the elections. That was not the case. They were arranged to be married even before her father became a public official. It was a matter of a promise to unite two families. The late king, Gale's grandfather, and her grandfather were best of friends. They wanted to be one family however both had sons thus they cannot be joined by marriage. It was probably 'luck' that her father had her and the royal family's first born was a son.

They hated each other. Well it was more like Gale hated her. They were wed early. Gale was 21, she was 19. However, they are not to share a room nor consummate their wedding until Madge reaches the age of 21, or they graduate college. Whichever comes first. But that doesn't mean they haven't done anything. They probably did everything a couple does with the exception of being naked in bed, tangled under the sheets.

They have been married for a year already and they have encountered a lot of issues. Mostly issues of jealousy and infidelity. Some are true; some are just plain assumptions of people who make gossip for a living.

"You do know that's not true." Gale said as he pulled her into his arms.

"Well this is a political marriage after all."

"Speaking of political marriage, do you remember what we talked about when we got married?" Gale looked in to her eyes as she nodded. "Well, I was thinking, maybe we could dissolve the marriage next year…"

Madge suddenly pulled away. She was surprised. She thought things between them were doing really well already. She loves him. He admitted his feelings for her three weeks ago and now he wants to nullify their marriage?

"Wait, Madge. Listen to me." He cupped her cheeks and looked into her eyes. "I want to marry you. For real. Not because of our grandfathers. Not for the sake of saving my family's name. But because we love each other." He pulled her back into his arms, and nuzzled her wet hair. "And besides, you're turning 21 next year. I have been deprived of our honeymoon. A real honeymoon." He said as he laid kisses on her jaw. His hands moved down to give her behind as squeeze.

"GALE!"
