Just Luna-P and I

Gaily skipping through the fields,
Gazing up into the sky.
Flitting here, and sometimes there,
Just Luna-P and I.

Waltzing through castle corridors,
Sneaking around for fun,
Staring awestruck at the statues
Counting them one by one.

Then one day I came upon
A secluded jeweled door.
I stared at it for a long while,
I hadn't seen it there before!

What could possibly exist beyond?
I was so anxious to see.
I went to grab the jeweled handle,
Yet it swung open effortlessly.

"Welcome, little princess"
A voice said, as I jumped and turned.
And there stood a mysterious woman,
I was scared, my stomach churned.

I hadn't any need to worry,
For my parents she did not send.
And thus, I met Sailor Pluto
My closest and dearest friend.

I suspect she had been lonely,
Which was just as well for me.
For I didn't know many people,
I needed friends as much as she!

At school they'd always shout and throw
Insults and remarks at me.
For many years, my aging has been stopped
Will I ever become a lady?

Oh, but Pluto, kind and sweet
Would comfort me and say:
"I'm positive that you will be
A beautiful lady, someday!"

As the Guardian of Time
Pluto silently watches at her post
But since she watches time so closely
She usually knows more than most.

But soon there was a sad event
That Pluto had no warning of.
Wiseman tricked me into belief
That of all things, I was not loved.

He offered me the chance to be
An elegant lady, finally!
But the secret he did not tell me,
Lost, would be, my personality.

A slave to Wiseman, I became
And unaware, was I
And so, Sailor Pluto's fate was sealed
In effect, she died.

The evil of greed would have killed us all,
If not for Pluto's act.
For as the moment nearly came,
She stopped the course of time, in fact.

But, alas, the punishment for halting
Time within mid-breath,
Was that my sweet Guardian Pluto,
Would suffer pain and death.

And as her final moment came,
My memories came back at last!
Yet despite my tears and protests,
Pluto soon breathed her last breath.

My mother, the queen, in tears as well,
Wept, and as she held me
Said that my dear friend Sailor Pluto,
Forever remembered would be.

Not too long after this sorrowful tale,
Another enemy arose on Earth
More senshi were needed for the threat
And so Pluto was given rebirth.

"Setsuna Meioh, pleased to meet you."
