A/N I know that it's been a long time since I have been able to work on any type of fanfiction. In honest I am a little afraid that I am losing my will to write. There are so many ideas that pop into my head but they never get passed a certain part and its just so damn frustrating. Oh well here is some fanfiction for you and hopefully the muse will strike me with something that just begs to be written.

Summoner's Rift

Chapter 1 - Her Remorse.

Syndra looked down at her still glowing fingers. The magic she had just unleashed was still flowing in her veins calling for even more blood that that of her former master. It was a sad fact that she had to kill the old man who in many ways had been like a father to her. He only had shown her the only kindness in her life as the other villagers had been afraid of her and her powers. In fact she still could not believe the fact that she had killed him.

Yes she had meant to fight him but not to cross the line and actually kill him. Her plan had been that she would attack him a little but to than back off and show that she was in control of her magic. That however had flown out the window the moment he threaten to take all her magic from her. Who was she if she had no magic? If she was just a shell of her former self than those vile creatures would be able to take control of her and that she would never let happen. She would rather die than let them lay one hand on her.

"Master," She sighed as she bent down next to his broken corpse. "You where the one who brought this on yourself. I would have shown that I could control this magic. In fact I should have been able to access this magic the whole time! But no you had to hide it away as if I did not deserve it!" She sighs as she feels the hum of her magic. With a flick of her wrist she levitated the body. She than layed it on three of her dark orbs and pushed it in front of her.

"I know that you are up there cursing my name. I know that in whatever lies after this world you are cursing the day you ever took me on. However, I do know that you are the closet thing to family that I ever had. I do want you to know that. Today will always be my biggest regret and for that I hope you at least get a little bit of comfort from. Rest in peace father."

Syndra gently lowered the body into the newly dug grave. Than with a flick of her wrist the dug up earth returned to the ground burying the once great mage. It would hunt her for the rest of her life but she now had the magic that was rightfully hers. Now she would never be that weak again. That she promised herself as the lone tear fell down her check. No one would be able to hurt her ever again.
