A.N.1/ Okay so I know you're all extremely mad at me for not updating the Lion and The Snake, but I just had to post this. It's a cute little fic that I wrote while I was student Teaching today… I am going to be student teaching English for the next year, so I may not update as much as hoped, but I will try…

Summary: Hasn't anyone ever wondered how the Marauders Map was taken by Filch? Here's my take on it.

Warning: Slash, Fluff, Flichness (is that a word? It would be so awesome if it was!)

On a piano you have 88 chances of perfection… You only have one, how do you do it?

'Moony,

Meet me at the old Astronomy Tower. 11. Bring the Map, and James' Cloak.

Padfoot'

Remus Lupin walked through the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Making his way towards the abandoned Astronomy Tower- in an heirloom Invisibility cloak, and watching for teachers and Filch on a Map that showed the entity of the school- to meet his boyfriend and notorious Marauder, Sirius Black. He was donned in the standard issue Hogwarts robes; black with the Gryffindor crest. In his hand he held an heirloom Invisibility cloak, watched for teachers and Filch on a Map that showed the entity of the school, and slowly hummed the tune of Pachelbel's Canon in D. Sirius had played it for him the night before.

So engrossed with his thoughts, that Remus did not hear the footsteps behind him. He did not see the wand raised, and only saw the spell, after it was too late to cast a Protego charm.

What he didn't know was that the person who had stunned him, was the one and only Sirius Black…

Darkness; that was all he could see. He was surrounded by darkness. Then pin pricks of light, and then his mouth was being covered and he was on the floor of the astronomy tower.

The first thing he saw after his mouth was uncovered was that he was sitting by a pure white grand piano. He saw that Sirius was sitting on the plush black and white stool. Already pulling scores from his bag.

"Remy," He started, cleared his throat and began again. "I've been working on this since last summer. It's your lullaby." With that he straightened his back, took a deep breath, carefully placed his fingers on the keys, and began to play the most beautiful, - purely melodious- piece in E minor.

Sirius was at complete peace. He was playing; this, in fact, was one of his splurges. He hardly ever got to play at home. He always felt better when he played- especially if it was for Remus.

Sometime during the song Remus had begun to dance- another thing Sirius loved about Remus- slowly and majestically. After he had finished, Sirius began Fur Elise, and Remus noticed this; he made his way to sit beside the Animagus.

After finishing the piece, Sirius slowly placed the key cover over the piano, and wrapped his arms around Remus.

Making their way back to the common room proved very difficult. Meaning, they were caught by Filch. Sadly the Marauder's Map was confiscated, although they somehow managed to hide James' invisibility cloak. Maybe that would make up for them loosing the Map… Hopefully…

AN2: ~ for all of those people who are wondering who Josef LuePein is… He's my fiancé. And –no lie- you pronounce his name Lou-Pen like Lupin, Remus Lupin… He's a French-Canadian hence the French name.

I find it rather ironic that my name will be Sirius LuePein after I get married... Fate has a sarcastic sense of humor...
