Author's Note: Okay, so this is one of my sadder ones. Kinda tear jerking. I guess Dib doesn't really hide any of his hardships, but it fits the song to say that. Maybe you can say he's trying to stay strong and doing it the wrong way. As stated in the summary, this is not supposed to be a comedy. I understand the seriousness of the song "Concrete Angel" and though some parts may seem a little like they are meant to be laughed at, they are not intended that way.

Disclaimer: Jhonen Vasquez and Nickelodeon Studios own everything related to "Invader ZIM" and Martina McBride owns the song "Concrete Angel".

Paranormal Angel

He walks to school with his last nerve wracked

Zim's not the only thing that's holding him back

Wearing the same shirt he wore yesterday

Hopes a blank smiley face will soften the pain

Ms. Bitters wonders but she doesn't ask

She'd rather see the pain behind the mask

Everyone can see he fights a daily storm

Yet they still wish that he was never born

Though criticized every day

He stands hard as a stone

In a world that he can't make perceive

But his dream

Gives him wings

And he flies to a place

That believes

Paranormal angel

A cry breaks out from an Irken's lair

The neighbors hear but they just don't care

A fragile soul caught in the hands of Zim

It came to this before they would believe him

Though criticized every day

He stands hard as a stone

In a world that he can't make perceive

But his dream

Gives him wings

And he flies to a place

That believes

Paranormal angel

A statue stands marking the boy's demise

Gaz and Membrane arrive with tear-filled eyes

A lifelong dream that he would never forfeit

A lonely heart that they would never forget

Though criticized every day

He stood hard as a stone

In a world he could not make perceive

But though his dream

Was his wings

He was gone by the time

They believed

Paranormal angel

Author's Note: Sorry if that was too sad. Like I said, I wanted to use that song for something and this came out fairly easily. I love and appreciate reviews and constructive criticism. No flames (bashing reviews) please. Fire bad…
