Disclaimer: Not Mine.
A/N: Because Molly Weasley kicked ass as a character long before she defeated Bellatrix Lestrange.
"NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!"
~Molly Weasley
Potentiality
Everyone expected Molly Prewett to do great things.
She was a beautiful girl from a good, old family. She was wealthy and brilliant and powerful. She was top of her class, a prefect, the Head Girl. She played Quidditch like a dream. She was strong. She was fearless.
Molly was not the sort of girl who took lip from anyone, the sort of girl who backed down or backed off. She was not the sort of girl who gave up or gave in or settled for less. Molly was the sort of girl who got what she wanted and God help anyone who got in her way or told her no, the sort of girl who was guaranteed a shining, glittering future.
Auror. People speculated. Minister, Curse Breaker, Quidditch star, potions mistress, inventor, adventurer, teacher.
No one guessed mother.
Everyone expected Molly Prewett to do great things.
Very few people understand that she did.
A/N: I've read several fics based on the premise that Molly could have done a lot more with her life than be a housewife. People seem to forget that more than being a housewife Molly was a mother. A good one. And, quite frankly, one of the few truly responsible adults portrayed in the entire Harry Potter series. If that's not great I don't know what is.
As always reviews are appreciated and adored, particularly those with constructive criticism. : )
