Hi. It's been five years since the war. I lost my mother due to suicide, lost my father to Azkaban, and my wife left me. But I didn't lose my four year old son, Scorpius. Nor did I lose my PSDT and nightmares.
Scorpius and I have been living in muggle London for a good while, to stray from the Wizarding world. We live in a one bedroom house, maple wooden floors, Slytherin green painted on the walls. I loved my house, expect at night. All my worst thoughts took over; often leaving me to stay up for the night. When I finally fell asleep Scorp would stay close.
Today we are walking down a local market when I sported a familiar bushy haired woman. I straighten up my navy blue short-sleeve polo shirt, and make sure Scorp's platinum locks are looking tidy, before walking over there.
"G-granger?"
She quickly turns her head around hazel eyes meeting silver. A light smile appeared on her soft pink lips. She has defiantly changed over the years. Her once untamable toffee locks were now neatly placed in a short ponytail; still bushy as ever. Her light blue and pearl white sunflower dress showed me that she had curves in all the right places. I looked down at her left hand and noticed that she isn't sporting a wedding ring.
"M-Malfoy?"
"Which one?" Scorp giggled.
Hermione crouched down to his level and smile, "I was talking to your daddy little man."
"Oh," he signed.
"Hey Granger," I chuckled.
"Draco, you can call me Hermione," she tells me with a smile that reaches her eyes.
"O-ok. So what brings you to the market?"I ask.
"Just shopping for my new house," she signed.
"Miss Hermione, can you come to dinner?" Scorp asks.
"I would love to. Can I Draco?"
"Really, Gran-Hermione? Just don't apprate in or floo. We live in muggle London," I told her.
"Really? Since when?"
"Since my ex-wife left me for your Weasel," I growled.
"Oh... he's not mine," she mumbled.
"Daddy, be nice," Scorp snarled.
"Sorry."
"It's cool. I'll see you at dinner, Scorp," she said giving Scorp a handshake.
"Hey! What about me!"
"You too, Draco," she chuckled walking away.
I actually can't wait till dinner. Hopefully, this is a new beginning. Hopefully.
Hey guys, it's been a hot minute due to writers block and life. This was at first going to be a long story but then I changed my mind.
