A/N: I saw this post on tumblr, and this idea came to me. It was way too cute to pass up not writing it (even if it has taken me a while to finally complete it…). Please enjoy. All reviews are welcome and certainly make my muse happy knowing all these ideas aren't going to waste. Beta work done by Madam Mayor.

"Henry! I will NOT tell you again. Dinner is ready!" Regina yelled from the kitchen.

"Alright, alright, hold your horses," Henry replied from his room upstairs.

"That son of ours is becoming a lazy teenager," Regina groaned.

"He's probably doing something important. He always rushes down to eat," Emma joked. Regina carried the plates across to the table and sat down. Emma smiled at her wife as she took her usual seat across from the brunette. Ten minutes later, Henry appeared in the dining room and sat down beside Emma.

"I called you ages ago," Regina hissed, filling her fork with salad. "What were you doing?!" she asked, looking up from her plate.

"Stuff," he shrugged.

"You can do the dishes after dinner," Regina ordered.

"Looks like you're in trouble kid," Emma chimed.

"Ma!" Henry groaned as he chewed on the piece of steak he had just cut. Regina was quiet during dinner and once she had finished her meal, she retired into the study with her glass of wine.

The next afternoon, Regina went into Henry's room to start washing his school uniforms. Walking over to the dirty laundry basket, something caught her eye on his desk. Her heart caught in her throat as she stared down at the drawing. Forgetting about the washing, Regina carefully picked up the piece of paper and went in search of her wife.

"Emma!" Regina shouted out.

"Yeah baby?" Emma replied.

"Where are you?" Regina asked.

"In here," Emma answered from the kitchen.

Regina quickly entered the room and saw Emma making a sandwich.

"What?" Emma said with a shrug as turned around. The blonde noticed Regina was holding a piece of paper. Frowning slightly, she moved over to her wife's side and looked down. Emma smiled faintly as tears welled in the corner of her eyes. The front door burst open and Henry rushed up to his room.

"Mum!" Henry screamed. Within seconds he had flown down the stairs and appeared in the kitchen. "Have you seen…" he stopped abruptly seeing his drawing in Regina's hand. "What are you doing with that?" he sniped, attempting to snatch it back. "I've probably ruined it," he sighed, stumbling back on his feet.

"No you haven't," Emma piped up, clearing her throat. "You are just updating what family means. You hadn't met me or knew that I would be with Regina when you originally drew this picture," Emma explained with a smile. Henry nodded his head then looked over at Regina.

"So what are you going to do with it?" he asked quietly.

"Get it framed and hang it on a wall. It's too precious to hide away in your room," Regina answered.

"Mum!" Henry groaned.
