To My Favorite Vulcan...
Live Long and Prosper, Peace and Long Life
Those are the words that echo through my mind
A walker of two roads, of Vulcan and Human
May you keep striding and take hold of your future
A man of logic, full of wisdom and knowledge
May you live life to the fullest and never be forgotten
My words go to you Mr. Leonard Nimoy
As Spock you have always brought me laughter and joy.
I have learned so much from you in the shortest of time
In 17 years you've helped me grow and stay alive
From the Vulcan Nerve Pinch to the Vulcan Mind Meld
I have enjoyed every moment Star Trek has ever held.
Mr. Spock, Captain Kirk and don't forget Dr. "Bones" McCoy
You three have stuck together no matter what voids
And even though you and the good doctor didn't always agree
When you did, things went bad eventually
And who could forget your memorable chess games
And how Kirk would win in his illogical ways
Or when McCoy would make fun of Vulcan Anatomy
And you would counter back, of course logically.
Whenever I saw that glimpse of a smile right on Spock's face
I couldn't help but say not bad to be part of the human race
Almost everything in Vulcan Anatomy is practically nonexistent in medical
I laugh every time Dr. McCoy has to reset his instruments for your physical
The five year mission continued its way
I was surprised McCoy never hypo'd you for driving him insane
Emotion and Logic are two paths you've always faced
Whether Vulcan or Human you've always kept a balance in place.
You've returned in the reboot to continue on in Mr. Spock's sake
At least your pilot didn't for get the "parking brake
To have been able to see Star Trek has been quite an honor
Good day Mr. Spock, Live Long and Prosper.
