Before this starts...
I know, I know! Its short, and not very good. Not to mention late, hm? I'm sorry. Its all I could think of.
A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 3

"Merry Christmas babe."

Ike leaned down from his position in bed to plant a late morning kiss on the prince's lips. The young prince giggled, wrapping his arms around the elder's neck.

"Kurisumasu Omedeto Ike," He said gently, adorning a small grin.

After another bout of passionate kisses, the two rose from their bed, dressing quickly and leaving the shared room, presents in tow. Marth had decided to wear a wine red cape today, the trim of the material adorned with faux fur. Unfortunately though, Ike hadn't any items remotely Christmas-esque to wear. Marth just ended up stealing some tinsel from the hallways and tying it around his forehead, over his headband.

Upon arriving at the main lounge, most combatants were already there, filling up on warm mince pies, eggnog and mulled wine. Ike, taking Marth's share of presents off of his hands, set the gifts underneath the Christmas tree and sat down on the floor by the fire with the younger contestants, including Pit, Link and Red, playing spin the bottle. Marth took a cup of mulled wine and walked over to join Peach and Zelda on the sofa.

Both smiled as he sat himself down between the princesses, taking a short sip from his goblet and wishing them a Merry Christmas in his native tongue.

"Seems Master Hand has gone all out this year," The prince mused, indicating the goblets that were provided to drink from. "Do you think he's feeling the Christmas spirit?"

"He must be, after all, he's cancelled every match today!" Peach giggled heartily, raising her goblet into the air.

"That's right. Well, all but one." Marth and Peach immediately stopped grinning as their heads snapped round to face Zelda. "There is one match, supposedly 'in the Christmas spirit', but it hasn't been announced who or what is involved."

Both Royals looked into their beverages with upset expressions, Zelda reaching her arm around them both and pulling them in for a quick hug.

"DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!" The group sitting before the fire chanted toward a visibly nervous Ike, the mercenary nervously scratching his neck.

"Come on guys...I can't do that..." He looked around the group, only receiving encouraging stares. He sighed, turning to face Link.

"What is all that about?" Marth questioned as he looked round to the group, the normally proud mercenary suddenly looking sheepish.

The prince rose the goblet to his lips, taking a long drink as he continued to look over the events.

Both Link and Ike shrugged, leaning forward and gently pecking each others lips shyly under the sprig of mistletoe Nana, almost too eagerly, held up.

Marth immediately spat out his eggnog over himself, coughing and gagging as it dribbled down his chin messily. Turning around to see what the fuss was about, Ike quickly stood up, grabbing a few napkins and kneeling before Marth, chuckling at the blushing prince's face.

"You, blushing with white, sticky stuff over your face. What a pleasurable sight." He lovingly teased, the princesses immediately catching on and blushing at the comment.

"Haha," the prince said flatly, swatting at the arm Ike used to clean him up. "Just don't expect to see that tonight."

Again. Sorry.
