Beep. Beep. Beep. Bang! I smacked the top of my alarm clock and sighed. I was already awake. Nervous as I always was about seeing Simon again. I hoped he'd be impressed with my work since I last saw him. I dragged myself out of bed and hauled myself into my shower; then blow dried my fiery red bob until it was perfectly sleek. It was so much easier since I had it cut. I sometimes missed my long red curls but I didn't regret my decision to get it cut after yet another failed dating situation. It was time for a new me. I applied my usual makeup and pulled on a white skirt suit that I picked out last night and stepped into my favourite pair of shoes - a pair of nude patent pumps with a 3.5 inch stiletto heel. I'd worn them so much they were now my most comfortable heels. I could probably run a mile in them if I had to. I was just about to head down to the parking lot when my phone vibrated. It was Karen, my sister. Shit! What was the date today? Oh crap! They were coming here later. My nephews Zach and Gray. I quickly scrolled through the calendar on my phone to see if I could move any appointments around. I had enough time to meet them at 2pm; but I'd just have to ask my assistant Zara to go above and beyond the call of duty and babysit them for the day. Wow. How old were they now? Zach must have been in his last couple of years of high school. And Gray; he was about four years younger I think. I felt like a terrible human for not knowing their ages. I headed down to my car, screening Karen's call. Zara was waiting with my usual Starbucks order. Her raven hair contrasted with her pale skin and I envied how skinny she looked. I really had to diet to get into these stupid size 6 suits and she just seemed to be so skinny effortlessly. I'll bet it was because she was British.

"Good morning." She smiled, as she climbed into my Mercedes.

"Morning. Listen, I have a really huge favour to ask."

"Your nephews? I had a feeling you wouldn't remember. Sure I'll look after them."

"How did you-?"

"It's my job Claire. Now let's go. You have a couple of investors meetings this morning and I can bring your Nephews to the IC to meet you at two o'clock before you meet Simon." The IC was how we referred to the Innovation Centre. The visitor's hub of Jurassic World, where they usually went before they headed out into the park to explore.

When I was done with the first set of investors who were looking to gain revenue from the relatively new Technology here at the park; I was running late. I stepped into the elevator, reciting my lines and reminding myself who I was meeting.

"Hal, Jim, Erica, Hal Jim, Erica; and I am Claire, Three minutes late." I tutted as the elevator doors slid open and my eyes met the group of three investors I was ready to impress with our latest attraction.

"Welcome to Jurassic World." I said.
