Prologue
I do not own any part of the Harry Potter world, if I did, it would be totally different. :D *cough Hermione and Draco would get married cough*
"And now, I pronounce you man and wife," the vicar solemnly said. Ron looked to his new wife and smiled, "Perhaps we should go to the wedding breakfast." His wife, Hermione, now the Countess of Dover, smiled back and they proceeded to leave. Now, sitting at the wedding breakfast, Hermione was observing her new husband and could not but help to have seeds of doubt. However, she sharply scolded herself and told herself that this was exactly what she wanted, after all, had she not been in love with him for the past few years? She signed; maybe all of this will be better as the years go on.
After the breakfast, the couple left for their new home. Hermione sighed, she had hoped that Ron would help her down from their carriage and carry her into their new home, but she knew that Ron scoffed at such romantic thoughts and she stepped down from the carriage and into her new life.
Going to her new bedroom, Hermione decided to freshen up before dinner and went upstairs. Going up those stairs, she heard moans and groans emitted from a guest bedroom. Curiosity getting the best of her, she cautiously opened the door and the sight before her made her blood run cold. She slammed the door shut, alerting her new husband to her presence and quickly ran back downstairs. Her housekeeper, Mrs. O'Donald looked up in surprise but did not have time to react before Ron came down.
"Look, it was not what you think it was dear," Ron exclaimed.
"No, it was exactly what I think it was, why on earth did I marry you?" Hermione said, cringing at the usage of the endearment.
"Look, dear you are going to be wife for eternity so you best learn to get used to this," Ron said, sarcasm showing.
"No, I refuse to be the laughing stock of this village, I will return to my parent's home tomorrow morning, after all, my mother told me not to marry you," Hermione said triumphantly.
"No, you will stay here, as my wife," Ron said, starting to lose patience with his wife.
"NO," Hermione shouted.
Ron raised his hand and before the three knew it, slapped Hermione hard on the cheek, the blow knocking her into the dining table and knocking her out. As Hermione started to lose conscience, she heard Mrs. O'Donald gasp and Ron raised his hand again. Hermione's last thoughts were of Mrs. O'Donald, willing Ron not to hurt her but by then, she had blacked out.
So y'all what do you think?
