Galinda awoke in the middle of the night thinking of the dream she had just had. She was walking peacefully, humming along when she noticed a frog. She then remembered the stories her mother used to tell her when she was little at bed time. The frog would certainly turn into a prince if she kissed it. And that's what she did but the prince never showed up. Instead the frog stayed a frog. It's at this moment that she woke up. She couldn't sleep anymore. She turned her head to the right and noticed her green roommate, green friend. And then it hit her. Maybe she was the frog from her dream. After all, if she kissed her, Elphaba would still remain green right?. She stood up and walked over Elphaba's bed and started to poke her in the stomach. After what seemed an eternity in Galinda's time, Elphaba finally awoke.

"What do you want ?" Said Elphaba a little pieced.
"Do you believe in farytales Elphie?"
"What?" She respond, a little startled by what her friend had just asked her.
"I said, do you believe in farytales? You know the princess and her prince who live happily ever after?"
"Why would I believe in the Prince Charming and everything?" She didn't really understand where her friend was going.
"Well, every girl think of it at least once in her life. Don't you?"
"You know Galinda I don't really know why I would have think of that. As you may have noticed in these past few months we have been rooming together I don't have the right color to be the prince I'm rather the frog"

With that answer Galinda approached her face towards Elphaba's and when she was close to her lips she said "Well, you know the stories, you have to kiss a frog before it turns into a prince." And then she kissed her. Deep inside of her she knew Elphaba was the frog who was meant to be her prince or rather her princess.
