The Eyes

The red sun was low in the sky. I had over slept... again. I clambered out of bed and reached the door, it creaked as I left the building. I was ready for a small stroll around my area of the island, collect some wool then get back here before nightfall. I stopped immediately in my tracks, heart pounding, as I noticed the creepitori lizard, the most dangerous of all lizards. One bite could kill you in less than a minute, with no cure. I stared into the black void eyes and dark green spots. I took a deep breath and fled; Fled through the trees, the leaves, the flowers. Past a cavern of spiders, over a lump of rocks.

I stopped, I collapsed, I looked around and had no idea where I was. Night was gaining and I had no shelter.

Fog swept over the forest, a blanket of coldness. It hit me like a train; I had only recovered when I saw 3 creepitori lizards behind me, I scrambled up and leapt up a mountain but when I looked behind, they had gone. I faced forwards and saw a distant figure, outlined by the dank smog. He was tall... solitary, and a distant, hollow echo rang in my ears. Something was wrong, I shivered. Nevertheless, it was company and maybe he could help. I took a step forwards. I saw it. The eyes. The blank, white, probing eyes. I rubbed my eyes in case I was mistaken. I blinked. He was gone. The turn. The arrow. The fall... The dark.

The dark... It enfolded out, and covered the space. Mysterious, unknown. A fuse and a flicker of light was heard in the corner. A torch! I saw an old woman. She was a member of the wolf tribe. They were good friends but very, very bad enemies. She sat down and we talked. The 'skeleton' tribe leader shot me with the arrow. If the wolves were not there I would have died. I asked the woman about the figure I saw. The blank eyes burning into me. As soon as the words came out of my mouth the woman panicked and dragged me out of the tent that I appeared to be in. I saw children playing, pigs being hunted for food and farms all over, I only got a glance at this before I went round a corner and pushed into the mud behind a border.

"Those who see the Herobrine are forever cursed for eternity!" She barked and left where I had, yet again, nowhere to go. As it was close to morning, I decided to try and find my home again, so I set off in a space between some trees, like a mini path. In between the 'path' edges, Creepatori lizards settled themselves and glared at me. I was no longer scared of them; if they killed me it would make no difference than the eternity of being cursed. Every step I took, I got more and more anxious. I felt like someone was watching me. A few times that I stepped off the paths, a hollow ringing sound that got louder with every step. Once I tried to ignore it and just carry on when fog came in and again, I saw a dim figure, but this time, he had his back towards me. I was so scared I ran back as fast as I can, dodging creepers until I got back to the path. I carried on walking till it was almost dusk. I saw my house... yet it was... different. There seemed to be a purple hue coming from the inside and smany lizards swarmed around it. I opened the door and stepped towards it. The face with the blank, searching eyes leered in front of me as I teleported down, down, into the red hell-ish world below.
