Mao sighed… and sighed.

He couldn't sleep! He already tried everything! He tried closing his eyes and listening to the night sounds outside the windows, counting the imaginary jumping sheeps on his head and bribing himself with sweets in the morning, but he just can't!

"Ugh!" he grunted, tossing around his bed.

They're currently at British Hills for yet another filming of Takumi-kun series. He should be resting now coz' they'll have an early day tomorrow, but he just couldn't bring himself to do so. It's not as if the bed was hard, or something like that but!...

"Mao, are you still awake?" Daisuke softly asked the other occupant of the room who is now hiding himself under his blankets, trying to lure .

"Mao?" He called out again and soon a head with slightly tousled hair poked itself out of the cloth.

"I'm sorry, Dai-chan… sorry to disturb you… I know that we should be sleeping already so we can wake up early but…" and Mao sighed again, ashamed of himself for interrupting the other man's slumber .

"Don't worry about it. Is there something wrong with your bed?"

"No…"

"Then, is it because of the unfamiliarity of the place?"

"Mmn. I guess…" Mao said, his voice sad. "Maybe I'm missing Roku. He used to sleep beside me after all." the younger boy continued, addressing his furry, bestfriend cat.

Silence settled between the two and the younger guy would have thought that his partner is back to sleep, if not for the opened eyes that stares blankly at the wall. After a minute, Mao decided to break it, worried that the Dai-chan might not get enough rest because of his childishness.

"You can go back to sleep now Dai-chan. Sorry. I'll try my best not to disturb you again."

The handsome little guy then turned around, his back facing Daisuke, and pulled the blanket to his chin.

"Oyasumi~"

His voice rang heavily in his ears. For a couple of seconds, everything was quiet and then he heard some rustling of the sheets.

Suddenly, his blanket was tugged from him in one yank and he was pushed gently to the side of his bed. Mao couldn't stop the yelp from escaping. He spun around to see what was happening and found himself looking in two brown tender eyes.

Dai-chan said nothing, just smiled at him and pulled him close and wrapped his arms around the startled boy. Then he bend over and pressed his warm lips to Mao's forehead.

"Dai-chan?"

"Is this better? It this familiar enough for you?"

Mao's eyes widened for a second before they drift back closed, an angelic smile gracing his lips, conveying his happiness and contentment for the other's actions.

"Arigatou, Dai-chan."

"You're welcome. Oyasumi."

And with Mao snuggling closer to the other's chest, while Dai-chan rest his chin on Mao's hair, they both slept within seconds, dreaming of each other.
