This is a rework of my old story, been so long since I touched it I could not get back into the same tempo.
Prologue
Its early September, summer has ended and school has just recently begun. That day the beta for the most talked game ever to exist just ended, Sword Art Online.
I walk into class, a tall skinny white nerd. Wearing a pair of jeans and a rock concert t-shirt with a pair of worn out tennish shoes. My short unkept brown hair with my hair pressed down from my headset. An acne covered face with dark black circles around my eyes from monster energy fueled nights.
"Yo Cameron, now that the beta is over for SAO you can finally play video games with me."
Cameron turns around waving at me. "You wish someone would play with your sorry ass." He lets out a chuckle, "Can't believe I have been sick all last week. I will have to tell you about all that time I spent resting at home."
The bell rings as the teacher stands up, "Since everyone is here let's get started from where we left off yesterday."
I whisper to Cameron, "lunch you're spilling all your secrets on what happened last week." I take my seat removing my books for class. Laying my head down on my books, using them for pillows.
The bell rings for lunch waking me up and releasing us for lunch. I shove my pillows into my bag slinging it onto my shoulder. "Cameron, I need all those beta tester secrets in your brain. If I buy you lunch will you let me pick your brain?"
He picks up his bag, "I would do anything for free food, you know me to well." We make our way out the school through the crowded halls to a burger joint across the street.
We take our seats, "this better be good info, you bought the most expensive thing on the menu. "
Cameron takes a bite of his burger, "You said you would pay for info. The info is worth it." He tells all of the stories from day 1 to 7 leaving no detail out in between bites of his food. "Now Chase all you have to do is buy the console and game the day it comes out and play opening day with me. With how much you game I am suprised you haven't already bought it."
I let out a sigh, "But I am lazy and that means I have to get a job to pay for it. But I really want it so I will suffer till later this month when it comes out."
Done on my phone and is a total pain compared to my laptop, but its broken so screw it. Feedback is much desired since I know I am not perfect.
