Disclaimer: Sadly Gundam Wing is not mine *cries* but that don't mean I can't write about it eh. *Insert evil laughter here*. Ok anyways onto the story. Oh and this story will be Duo/Heero so if you don't like it don't read it.
Origins Unknown
A weak uncertain sun was struggling trough the dense clouds that covered the whole of the forest. Nothing grew in this dismal land except for the dark trees. Any stranger to this land would think that the trees had been scorched by a terrible fire and had thus gained their ashen apperance. This however logical is not the truth. The land was locked in a seemingly perpetual twilight, and what little sunlight that was there could not break throught the dense murky fog that covers the area. And as the trees had changed from being bred in darkness so to did the animals that occupied that darkness. Mutated from their original forms to creatures that bore a slight resemblance to humans. If anyone were to trespass upon the grounds of the forest these creatures would slay them on sight. For these creatures were guarding something. Something that lay deep within the unknown, shrouded in the darkness, waiting to be found.
He paused at the door of the small cabin to look over at the slumbering form of his best friend. He felt a pang of guilt at not telling his friend that he was leaving. But the journey would be dangerous and he didn't want to put his friend's life at risk. He really didn't want to leave without saying goodbye because that chances were that he would never return. But he had to do this alone so with one last glance at his friend he closed the door softly, and ran off into the night.
