The Elder Scrolls IV:

Oblivion

Talon groaned as he woke up. Where am I, he wondered. He soon found he was in a prison cell. Then it hit him. He had been walking in the wilderness. Searching for…something. He couldn't think straight. There was some sort of fight. That was all he could remember.

He got up off of the uncomfortable jail bed. He stumbled over to the cell door to find a dark elf in another cell across the way.

"Hey, you! Yes you! Did you come from Morrowind?" He called out. "Were you married? I'll tell you what…. I'm going to get out of here soon. When I get back to Morrowind, I'll look her up. Don't worry, Ill take good care of her since you're going to die in here! Ill make sure she is not LONELY!" He let out a hacking cough.

"Baurus, lock that door behind us."

"Yes, captain."

"My sons are dead, aren't they?"

"We don't know that sir, the messenger only said that they were attacked.

"No, they are dead. I know it."

"You are my only task now, sir. I must keep you safe." They came within view of the door. "Whats this prisoner doing in here?"

"Uh…I don't know, the usual mix-up with the watch…"

"Nevermind, just open this door. You, prisoner, stand back if you know whats good for you!" A female captain ordered. Talon obediently backed up toward the wall. "Come this way, sir." She led an elderly man dressed in fine robes into the cell. The man saw Talon and gasped.

"You! You are the one I saw in my dreams! Then this is the day…. gods give me strength."

"What is happening?" Talon asked.

"I am your emperor, young Dunmer. I am Uriel Septim. You must follow us. We will take you out of this cell. You are destined for great things." Meanwhile, the captain pressed in a stone, and Talon's bed sank into the floor, revealing a tunnel. As Talon followed, the tunnel grew dark………….
