Deceiver: There's a preview of the new chapter of Kagerou Days and I just went CRAZY with a theory. Here's what I think would happen if the Trio knew Shintaro beforehand. Short!

We know who he is

"Kisaragi…huh?" Seto whispered as he watched over Mary and her new friend sleeping together on his bed. He just returned home and met three of the new members: Kisaragi Momo, Ene and Kisaragi Shintaro. So far, he noticed that Momo's Eyes seem to attract people's attention and that Ene might have them as well. Shintaro, on the other hand…

Seto closed the door to his room and headed back to where his friends were. Kido and Kano were waiting for him, sitting on the black couches in silence. Sitting next to his pal, they started their meeting. "He doesn't have any powers, but should we recruit him?"

Kido's eyes were downcast, deep in though. "Kisaragi Shintaro…I never thought I would meet him again."

"And that his little sis have those Eyes too," Kano smirked at her. "But too bad, he doesn't seem to remember any of us."

"No surprise there, we only met him once at the school festival." Three years ago, both Kido and Kano went to a local high school culture festival together and bumped into Ayano. She was with a friend, whom they knew well because of his red coloured jersey and that Ayano always mentioned him during their times together. They thought he was a hero that was as great as Ayano, but he was really actually a cold pessimistic person who lost interest in everything.

Almost like they were in their childhood.

"But man, hearing about his situation from Kisaragi-san," Seto leaned back on the couch, his arms resting on the back, "he seemed to be doing a whole lot worst now."

"He's still wearing Ayano nee-chan's colour, and yet he had been moping around at home for two years!" Kido crossed her arms, shaking her head.

Kano glanced at the leader, a sly smirk forming on his face. "That's what this gang is for, right?"

His friends turned to him, questioning. The male blond member of the gang sighed and leaned his head back. "Ayano nee made this gang for us in order to make us feel better with our Eyes and our past. We're still doing what she would have done, like Seto helped Mary by letting her out into this world and now we're helping Momo with her problem. Besides," Kano turned back to them, the smirk still on his face, "we'll have to help Ayano nee's friend this time. She would've have wanted that."

Silence loomed over them as they considered this, until Seto broke it with a sigh and rested his elbows on his knees, his hands clasped together for his chin to rest on. "You've forgotten one thing though," he reminded him. "This gang is also for finding out why onee-chan left us…"

Kido flinched at the words, turning away. True, that was why they went on missions in the first place. All they knew was that Ayano tried to stop some experiments and save someone, but what was it? They need to stop them as heroes, right?

"He should know why Ayano onee-chan died," Seto went on in a mere whispered, but it came out stiff. As much as he wanted to know at this very moment, he still didn't want to read someone's mind, especially while they were unconscious.

"Well," Kano clapped his hand together, "we'll just have to give him the biggest welcome we can give him before he has to give us the info."

Kido eyed on him suspiciously. "What are you planning?"

"Oh nothing," Kano raised his hands up in defence. "I'm just going to do the same thing I did with Kisaragi-chan this morning. But I will need dear leader's help."

The girl raised an eyebrow at him. "Do you want me to hold back my punches?"

"If you like!"

Seto smiled at them. Yep, this gang was going to get lively. Onee-chan, we'll make you proud. We'll do what we can with Shintaro-san.

"Seto, you're helping out too!"

"Don't worry, I already took the day off."
