Disclaimer: if only I owned Chuck Bass... but I don't and sadly I don't own anything to do with Gossip Girl.
Chuck doesn't say, "I love you" as much as Blair says it to him, or as much as Nate used to say it. But that's okay. Because Blair knows on the rare occasion he does voice those three words, that he means it from the bottom of his heart. It's never a distracted reply as he watches Serena across the room; it's never a manipulative play to pull her strings. It's true and it makes her stomach squirm in pleasant surprise.
Chuck doesn't do lame gestures like carrying her books, or walking her to class. He makes sleazy remarks and pulls smug grins but she swoons anyway because well, it's nice to be appreciated for once, even if it is in a perverted way. All this attention from Chuck Bass makes her knees weak and her cheeks blush. She covers it well with a snaky reply and a disgusted look, and it's worth it to hear him laugh and see that flicker of pride dance behind his eyes. And Blair wouldn't have it any other way.
Blair sacrifices style for their relationship. Every morning, as they kiss outside school, she will slide off whichever of his "signature" scarves he's got around his neck and slip it round hers: even if it doesn't match her perfectly put together outfit. She doesn't care if the colors clash, or the pattern is too busy, she'll wear it anyway and be accompanied by the scent of scotch, smoke, cologne and something essentially Chuck for the rest of the day. He snatches it back with a scowl when they meet by his limo after school has finished but she knows he doesn't really mind: if he did he would have taken it back at lunch. She gets the feeling it pleases him to catch a glimpse of her round school, Queen B followed by her loyal clique, with his scarf wrapped lovingly around her neck.
Blair doesn't care about what Gossip Girl has to say about PDA. She doesn't care of what that bitch thinks is "x-rated" or "unneeded". When she notices Serena throwing her a worried glance after the blonde opens her phone, Blair knows she and her boyfriend have made it a big scandal on the "diss and tell" blog. Blair opens her phone and they'll be a picture of her and Chuck kissing and some nasty comments on how "it was sweet the first hundred times, now it's just old" below. Blair won't throw a fit about being stalked and picked on by Gossip girl; instead she'll wrinkle her nose and smile. 'Don't we look cute?' she'll coo to a surprised Serena.
Blair doesn't care if she and Chuck are spotted tumbling out of a closet at some random party, disheveled appearances and glowing skin. She doesn't care if the zip on her vintage Armani dress is damaged because of Chuck's eager, shaky hands because it was worth it to feel his soft lips on her burning skin. It doesn't matter if the dress is ruined or the hair is out place, if her lipstick is smudged on his collar or that people are talking.
What has Chuck Bass done to me?
A secret smile embraces her lips.
