Title: The Future is Now!
Chapter: 1 – Big Greenish Light Pillar
Rating: T – just in case I decide to add some stuff….
Big Greenish Light Pillar
Link ran through the beautifully grassy fields towards…something, only to trip and nearly poke his eye out with the sword.
"Oh!" he laughed as he pulled himself up from the ground and continued on his way towards…what is that? Anyway, he continued to run, all of his limbs swinging out randomly, cutting the air. His hat, which he had previously glued to his head to keep it I place during his maundering, was flipping around, hitting his ears and making them rather pink. Again, he tripped and this time his sword sliced through his hat as he fell. Pulling the sword out and getting up, he laughed again, taking the final steps to that…thing he was going to.
That thing, by the way, was glowing rather fiercely and seemed to be some pillar of greenish light. "I like green!" Link shouted leaning forward to read the inscription on the stone in front of it. "'Big Greenish Light Pillar'," he began, "Cool! Uh- 'This light will take the carrier of the sacred sword and anyone whom he may think of to go into the future.'" Excited that he finally had something to do with that damn sword besides slice up grass and the occasional bad guy, danced a little before falling over. After getting back up, he threw himself and the sword into the light and focused his mind on who he wanted to go with him into the future….
>. ...>. ...>.
"Welcome to the future!" a very chipper voice came from in front of Link. He had no idea who was talking or of anything really except that everything was really really REALLY white. By the time his eyes adjusted to the whiteness of it all, he saw a bubbly looking tour guide. She was bubbly looking because she was currently doing several back-flips while talking quickly to a metallic-y thin in her hand. "Uh-huh! Yeah! giggle Okay! I'll talk to you later! Love ya like a SISTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" At the end of the painfully held out word, she stopped her fliping and turned to back to Link, who was beginning to notice that he was not the only on there besides the now cart wheeling blonde tour guide. Everyone who he had thought of was there with him, looking rather confused except for some random Zora he had thought of. He looked on with a sort of bordom. "Hi!" the guide said.
"Hey, Tiff." The Zora said.
"Wow, you guys know each other?" Link asked toppling over. The fish-man nodded.
"Yeah, we went to the same summer camp."
Link raised his eyebrows, "Really? What camp?"
"Just some camp." He looked around, still looking disgustingly bored.
"Iiiiiiit waaaassss….any guesses? Anyone? Anyone?" Tiff asked. "It was 'How-To-Be-A-Stereotypically-Annoying-Teen Camp! It was soooo much fun! Like, Drag here," she pointed to the Zora, "took all of the 'Be An Indifferent Slug' classes and I took all of he "Act Like A Cheerleader on Speed" ones. giggle it was so clap much clap FUN!" She clapped three more times, emphasizing each with a flip of her head. "Okay! Like I was saying, like WELCOME TO THE FUTURE!" A song played out of the whitness and all around them, several disembodied voices sang, "The future is now. The present is past. AAAHHHHH"
"Cool! Is the future green?" Link asked before falling over to the side and into Drag who yawned.
